I have looked and can't find any mention of this as a side effect. Is it possible? ## Hi Sharc, I actually just came across some info listing skin allergies as a side effect of Dicetel. It is possible that you could've experienced an allergic reaction to one or more ingredients in the drug/tablet that could be causing this inflammation/redness. Ref: medbroadcast.com/drug_info_details.brand_name_AdverseEffects I hope this info helps to answer your question! Have you discussed this with your doctor yet? ## Thanks for the response. I did talk to my Dr. about this and he seems to think it is unlikely that it is a reaction to the drug. He told me to go off t...
I tested positive for opiates and cannabinoids in a urine test to screen for metal toxins like arsenic, lead etc. This alarms me as I have not been consuming any of these substances. I have been taking nuproxin (alieve) for pain and a steroid anti inflammatory nasal spray (nasonex) and gabapentin for pain with no results. This concerns me as I've been ill for over a year but nothing shows up in tests other than illicit drug use and as far as I know, neither would be causing my symptoms either way. It could however, determine my healthcare provider's ability and willingness to diagnose me. Any help would be appreciated.
Updated in Nasonexfor ear and throat congestion ## They are actually called Tessalon Perles and they contain the active ingredient Benzonatate. THEY DO NOT TREAT CONGESTION! This is a type of topical anisthetic that helps prevent cough . ## ## You're correct. IT WORKS, TOO! One of my Allergist friends who literally grew up in a drugstore (his Dad owned the neighborhood pharmacy "back in the day"swears by them and, like me, he is not afraid to write for Controlled Substances when necessary. This doc is the only physician (other than my dermatologist) I know who orders "extemporaneous" prescriptions. (About 15 years ago, I had a bad case of Asthmatic Bronchitis; in addition to the antibiotic — which I chose because I take Coumadin and know more than he does about inte...

Hi, I'm really upset today because I'm in drug rehab (voluntarily) and was told today that I tested positive last week for opiates and benzodiapines. I am positive that I haven't taken any of these! I have been really working hard in rehab and am devastated by this'! I had one relapse and admitted it, even though it never came up on a test. The only medications that I have been taking any differently are some nighttime cold medicine for cough and a generic like Walgreens version if Benadryl during the day for allergies. Also I'm on prescriptions; Wellbutrin, Buspar, Resperidone and Trazadone, but I've been on them for awhile and haven't come up positive. I've been racking my brain trying to think of what could've happened and am so worried that I will...

Can Promethazine cause a positive drug result for Marijuana Metabolites? ## Hi Michelle, To answer your question, yes, Promethazine does reportedly cause a false positive for THC. On the cheaper, less reliable tests, it seems anything is possible. Based on what I've heard, false positives are known to occur on them anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. Have you tried to dispute this false positive? ## Yes, Promethazine has been known to cause false positives for THC, which is the active Marijuana substance that is tested for. Have you experienced a false positive from it? Learn more Promethazine details here. ## This was a test (that I knew I would have to take) given at my Jr. College (Navarro, TX). I had my gall bladder removed on 5/29 and have always had problems with nausea and su...
i have taken the drug Nasonex and i havent suffered any eye troubles or anything of that nature but i was wondering if i should use it after the expiration date ## How long has it been since the expiration date? The shelf life of Nasonex is noted to be up to 3 years when stored below 25°C (77°F) in the manufacturer's original packaging material. If its been continuing to work for you even after the date, then I'd say it's fine to use. According to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. I don't know whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of the drugs from their study, but for your ...
I have a white oblong pill with a symbol on the back looking almost like a v and scored with a 25 on one side. ## Hi Trish, Any chance that the pill your describing is light pink as opposed to white? It's identified as Diphenhydramine HCL (25 mg), which is mainly used to treat allergies, insomnia, motion sickness, and even used as a sleep aid. Manufacturer: New World Imports, Inc National Drug Code (NDC): 51824-0025 Learn More: Diphenhydramine Details Does this sound like it could be a match to your pill?
Can u snort clemastine fumarate 1.34 mgto get a buzz and if so what does it do and how.can u tell if someone did it? What are the side effects. Will it show up on a drug test and if so as what? Thank you ## Some people have been known to try to snort anything to try and get a buzz. However, Clemastine is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies and it also causes a lot of drowsiness, so it's doubtful that they'd get the effect they are wanting. Learn more Clemastine details here. And on the same note, no it isn't something that is tested for in a drug test and from what I've found, it hasn't been known to cause false positives. Are there any other questions?

I just don't want to throw myself into withdrawal or have any awful side effects... Plz help & thank you for taking time to help me out... ## If you're only taking these meds a couple of times I wouldn't think that you'd experience any withdrawal symptoms. However there's no guarantee that you won't experience side effects from them, because these drugs can and do effect everyone differently. I would just recommend reading up on each of these drugs so you can have an idea of what to expect. I have been given this as a preparation called Rhino hexal for nasal congestion by a greek pharmacist (i'm British on business here - dont speak much greek!), all the instructions are in greek, and i just wanted to know dosage (he said 1 puff 3 hourly) and if its safe ## This took some searching, since it's not available in the U.S., but I did find the information for you. The dosing is actually 1 to 3 puffs every 8 hours in each nostril, as needed. Learn more Xylometazoline details here. i need to know what this medication is for ## Hi cris, In english this is called Loratadine and Betamethasone. Loratadine is used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of hay fever (allergy to pollen, dust, or other substances in the air) and other allergies. It is also used to treat itching and redness caused by hives. Betamethasone is a potent glucocorticoid steroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It is used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions. It sounds like the combination of these two medications would certainly make their individual effects much stronger. Learn More: Loratadine Details Betamethasone Details I hope this info helps!

does cheratussin look niqrathin, or like a syrup ## Cheratussin ac has a thick liquid viscosity. A possible comparison is that it's thinner and runs quicker than maple syrup but thicker than fruit juice. That's the best analogy I can put together for it. If you happen to stop by your local pharmacy, just pick up a bottle of Robitussin cough syrup and it's pretty much the same consistency. The inactive ingredients in Cheratussin AC contain: alcohol, caramel, citric acid, FD&C red #40, flavor, glycerin, menthol racemic, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sorbitol solution ....So it will likely be a light reddish pink color, judging from the Red dye they put in it. You can view the packaging label of Cheratussin AC by following the link below: I hope this in...

Its funny how those drug companys can take a perfect human and trash them with there precriptions that have more side effects than anything. i noticed nasonex causes eye problems.the first question my eye doctor ask was ? does glucoma run in the family ? No ! after watching TV i know why I am a suspect for glucoma. I hate prescriptions , they are an easy death, the pills people take thinking there getting better when there not is B/S. ## Hi JD F, I can understand how you feel about prescription drugs and certainly agree with a lot of the points you made. According to the link below, changes in vision are a severe side effect of Nasonex: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000204/#a602024-sideEffects Are you experiencing side effects of glaucoma?
