My son is of 5 years of age he coughs frequently since the last 4 days consulted a padiatric doc , prescribed solvin nasal spray, ornotrix, Delletus D and levolin along with Calpol 250mg, fever rises due extensive cough and gets cold sometimes the other symptom of fever..asked whether its a symptom of pneumonia doc says no.please help me out cause can see him coughing out whole day long but coughs less when he goes to sleep.

I have been advised to take levotiz for sore throat ## Levotiz contains the active ingredient Levocetirizine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies and, as such, it's not going to do much for a sore throat, unless it's been caused by allergies that have caused nasal drip that irritated the throat. I take 25 medications a day. HIV,heart meds because had two heart attacks and pain medication from perperial neurothopy since 1993. I DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL. Can this medication show a 0.08 blood alcohol reading ? ## No, it won't give a false positive for alcohol. However, what else are you taking? There are some that may do that, but I can't say without knowing what else you are taking regularly. Did you take any cough syrups or cold remedies near that time?

I had a bad cold i drank coricidin hbp cough &cold and i drsnk my tramadol hcl only 50 mg when i git up from bed i had hive all around my body and it itches can i drink benedril for the itching? ## Benadryl is an antihistamine, so I think it should help relieve much of those symptoms. It sounds like you may have had an allergic reaction to the tramadol or coricidin in order to experience itching and hives like that. Were you ever able to to determine which of those medications might've caused the allergy?

I found a pink/peach tablet with the imprint k2 and it is scored between the k and the 2 the other side is blank I have no idea what it could be I've searched for hours but I can't find anything matching what I have please help I can post a pic if needed ## I can't find this listed in any of our resources, either. However, there is a vitamin tablet on the market called K2 that uses this for a marking. As an over the counter tablet, that would explain why it isn't in any of the databases. If so, it may not be due to an allergy, which could be why the antihistamines haven't helped. If it's only happening at night, with no other triggers, then it may just be due to a circulation problem, that can cause skin itching. Have you consulted a doctor?
