How does this pill work? I am the caretaker for my mom who has type 2 diabetes. Sometimes, when she stays home because she does not feel like attending the daycare she is reluctant for me to call the home health agency to come and inject her insulin which is at 13 units per day. I have had incidents where she has raised BSL close to 600 range and I start panicking !! Is this pill fast acting? the issue with my mum is that she won't eat same amounts day to day. So, I have to be constant monitoring the blue pill intake. I worry she might have a stroke when showing this BSL. She always says she feels fine when it happens but I believe the inside of her body is the one in danger. Any suggestions and comments are appreciated. Thank you.... ## Well, one solution would be to learn how to i...

Half oblong pa 620 ## Hello, Are you saying that you only have half of the pill? If so, there is really no way to identify half of a pill since there could be other important imprints on the half that is missing. The closest match I can find based on the description you have provided is Duratuss G; which is a white oblong pill with the imprint ucb on one half, then a score (split line), and 620 on the other half. Duratuss G contains (1200 mg) of guaifenesin. Guaifenesin is an expectorant drug sold over the counter and usually taken orally to assist the bringing up (expectoration) of phlegm from the airways in acute respiratory tract infections. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Guaifenesin Details If you have any questions or information to add, please post back!

I was on this for 9 days when I had a reaction, go into the sun and break out in large red areas, bumps, itching, and my face started swelling on any area the sun was on. Went to the Emergency room they said it's probable an allergic reaction to the medication. They told me to stop taking it and they gave me Benadryl and a few other meds. This was on Friday early evening, my question is how long will I still break out in this red itching rash because it is now Sunday and I still can't be out in the sun? ## Hi, Dawn! Very sorry about what you've been through. And unfortunately, if it's an allergic reaction, it may take a month or so for it to completely settle down. I have high blood pressure. Will this medicine make it higher? ## Hi, Sharon! How are you? And yes, it may elevate your blood pressure and heart rate, most antihistamines can do so. Whether or not you can take one will usually depend on how much it can raise it and what your blood pressure readings have been. For instance, I was given permission to take Benadryl and since it works so well for allergies, I've pretty much stuck with it ever since. Learn more Benadryl details here. You may want to ask your doctor about taking it, since it doesn't usually cause as much of an elevation as most others. Do you take any other medications?

I am 26 years old having allergy on my face. I took medicine for ear infection 1 week before from ent, I consulted doctor again he gave some allergies tables I took yesterday for two times still facing same issue this time it getting more, pls suggest I can't go to office ## An allergic reaction is really not going to clear up overnight, with a just a few doses of the medication. It will need more time and you should take the medication the doctor provided you with, as they've directed, to see if it helps. If you don't get any results after 5 to 7 days, or if it gets worse, then you'd need to return to your doctor for further assistance. What type of allergic reaction do you have on your face?

Does denxit cause rash or itching ? ## Hi, Joe! Any medication may cause that if you have an allergic reaction to it. Are you allergic to any other medications? Do you suffer from environmental allergies? If so, that raises your chances of being allergic to other substances. Have you consulted your doctor? spring and summer bring erruptions on my peke which drives us both crazy with her scratching and rubbing her eyes. I spend about two hours a day rubbing and scratching her. ## Have you had her tested by a veterinarian? They can test animals, just as they do humans, to see what they are allergic to and what the proper treatment would be. There are also antihistamines that can be used for dogs to treat allergies. ## Hi Jenny are you still struggling with this issue? After two years of hives, facial swelling, inflammation and weight gain, I am cautiously optimistic that I have discovered what has caused the hives. Its been two years of steroid treatments, humiliating hives, pain and major swelling. (Stress also makes the vicious cycle spin). I went to multiple doctors, (Derm, General, Rhuemotologist, OBGYN - hormones?, and three different allergists). had extensive allergy testing. The results indicated that I was "allergic" to wheat, corn, eggs, mushrooms, almonds etc. I drastically changed my diet to eat only vegetables, fruits, meat proteins and some rice. Even with exercise I was still gaming weight. During this time I was "treating" my hives and allergic response with "Allegra". I thought it was the wonder drug. I was al...

I've been using half the prescribed dose (given by allergist) of Nasonex for past 4 days. I hadn't even considered the possibility of cataracts but I do have a swollen eye (never experienced before) and feel like I'm getting a sinus infection. I'm guessing my cold sore outbreak of 2 days ago was also due to the fact that this drug lowers the immune system (found that info on the Internet, certainly not from the doc). I'm done with this medical experiment! I'll start washing my nose out with saline instead. ## Hi, Rebecca! Sorry that is caused your problems. You are not the first one to post about such things and I am quite certain that you won't be the last. However, it's good that you were using only half the dose and for such a short time, when you foun...
