Xyzal 5mg Result

How long should I take the 5mg tablets, I took one tablet last night. I have been coughing for 4 months due to allergic rhinitis, nothing worked. This pill is magic for me.!I haven't coughed all day. I don't know why I am constipated, is this a side effect? Thanks
