I have a one-year old daughter and she has allergies. She also has rashes on her face, hands, and legs, and is frequently attacked by asthma. Her pediatrician prescribed alnix drops 2.5ml for two weeks and then 1ml once a day until she reaches 2 yrs old. I am having doubts the fact that alnix drops have its side effects on babies. During one, I woke myself up when I kicked out hard enough to fall out of bed. Then I had another where I dreamed I was in the bathroom and ended up actually wetting the bed. My third dream was that I was again in the bathroom, on the toilet, then catching myself, afraid I was dreaming and would wet the bed. Hello, I am 53 years old. I started taking prescription Antihistamine in the 3rd. grade. At first I took Teldron spansules. This was discontinued and I've been taking Drixoral ever since. I am HIGHLY allergic to DUST and have tried other pills but nothing helps like the Drixoral. I only take it as needed, but recently found I can't find it. And, just like any medication, it does have risks and side effects, so no, just using it in attempt to gain weight is not considered safe. It can cause an increased appetite in some people, which sometimes causes them to gain some weight, however, it is usually not significant and the effects don't continue, when someone stops the medication. In addition, any method of gaining weight artificially, that doesn't involve a healthy diet and exercise can have severe detrimental effects on your health. How long can I take Co-Aleva since I have psoriasis? When I stopped after taking it for 14 days I had a very bad flare up, because I still eat foods that I'm not allowed to like foods with Gluten and Dairy. I think what's happening to me is what we called "withdrawal"? Can I try to take it again just for 7 days and stop eating foods that's not allowed to see if it will clear up? ## If you stop a medication that you are taking for a certain condition, and the condition flares up, again, that would be called a rebound effect. If you continue to eat foods that you aren't supposed to, then the flare may not even be related to stopping the medication, or it could be a combination of both. So I was taking claritin D 24hr tablet everyday for about 6-8 months. My doctor told me I needed to stop taking it because it was causing to make my anxiety worse so I stopped it cold turkey well about 3 days after stopping it I started noticing I was getting really bad anxiety and feeling nauseous. Thought it was stress then started getting jittery and intense itching, followed by sleep problems and body aches from being so tense and headaches. For some years I have had problems with sore throat, which turns into very bad coughing spasms.
