You reciently changed you packageing of MucinexDM to come in a box that the pills have to be punched out of and not in the bottle form. This makes it difficult for people with RA in there hand, if you come some how come up with a better way to open your product or go back to having it in bottle form I think that would make it easier for people like me that suffers from both RA & OA. And that will not cost to much; the price you have on you product is some what high for people on a fixed income and this drug is recommened for me to take by my ENT Doctors. So please think about changing the packageing of this product to Arthirst friendly package. ## I started taking MucinexDM at the recomendation of my ENT Doctors after I had my Throat operated on to remove a cancerious tummer and the...

I am desperate to know what this large white round pill is that I found this evening. It has the word "USHER" written twice, (once going down and the other across) on one side. On the other, it looks like a Fleur De Lis. ## I just found one too!! What the heck is this? It looks super suspicious and I’m concerned. It was on my street near our home and I have no idea where it came from??? ## I am not seeing an answer as to what this pill is......help please. ## This sounds like something illicit. Drug dealers stamp pills with a bunch of random things. Definitely some type of rave type party drug that has only God knows what in it. It could have Benadryl, amphetamine, benzodiazepenes, just anything they can find and stick in a pill. I mean these stamped pills are loaded with ...

Is it safe drinking lagundi syrup even if I'm in my 4th week of pregnancy? My throat hurts. ## HI, Nette! Congrats on the baby! As to Lagundi, since this is an herbal product, not an actual medication, it hasn't been studied to see if it's safe to use during pregnancy. It would be best for you to see your doctor, before taking anything, to make sure that you only take something that is safe and won't harm your baby. I am suffering from allergies. I have consulted several doctors and one doctor prescribed Ebast 20mg. He advised me not to use it often. I still have allergy symptoms. Any suggestions for allergy relief? ## By its nature and allergy can't be cured. However, an Allergist or Immunologist may be able to help you improve your immunity to whatever substances you're allergic to, so your body no longer overreacts. Have you consulted a specialist about it? ## Ebastine 20 mg is an allergy medication which has a lower potential for causing drowsiness. Unsure why it's not working, but there are other antihistamines that your doctor may prescribe for you. Have you been tested to see exactly what is causing your allergy symptoms?

I have had a cold and cough for the past week so I decided to take both decolgen and bioflu at the same time, but just once and suddenly realized I was a week pregnant... Is it really that bad? ## Hi, i bought the same product on a drugstore today and they told me that taking both drugs at the same time may cause to liver cancer ## Hello Mars, Congratulations! Aaccording to the NIH neither Bioflu nor Decolgen has no observed adverse effects of Paracetamol (Decolgen Forte/Decolgen No-Drowse) on the fetus in humans. This may sound confusing at first but what it more or less means that there isn't enough data currently supporting the fact that this drug harms a fetus. If you are still within the first month of your pregnancy it is unlikely that you have done any substantial damage, how...

I was prescribed a Z-Pak (Azithromycin, 250 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (60 mg) on a cruise and now my insurance company wants the American equivalent drug numbers for them. ## I think you are talking about the NDC number. It is a seven digit number - and the easiest is to do a search on internet of the medication and dosage - ie: Zithromycin 250 mgm and you should get all sorts of results. ## Yes, if they want the National Drug Code number for them, it is going to vary depending on the manufacturer, dosage, and etc. You can learn more about NDC numbers here from the FDA, and access a directory. Can you provide any further details on the medications you were prescribed, such as markings on them? Manufacturers names, or etc.? The FDA lists the typical side effects of these med...

I am still not sure if i am pregnant and have yet to check with a home kit. Now my allergic rhinitis is triggered by the weather my doctor gave me co-aleva however i fort to ask if it is pregnancy-friendly. Please advise. ## My wife is pregnant, she can't take a Co. Aleva.for her maintance of asthma. ## No, the U.S. FDA places the Betamethasone in Co-Aleva as being in pregnancy category C, which means it is a drug that has been suspected of causing fetal harm. However, there are some cases where it can be beneficial for an underdeveloped fetus, so it should be taken if your doctor deems it necessary. Otherwise, if a woman is pregnant, it would be best to consult their doctor about taking an alternative medication. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is it ok to take both bioflu and co-amoxiclav to treat my colds and cough? Thank you. ## The Co-Amoxiclav will not do anything to treat a cold, or cough. This medication can only treat a bacterial infection, the NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. However, colds and flu are caused by viral infections, so an antibiotic will not help. Did you doctor tell you take them? ## Oh ok. Thanks Verwon. I took omaprazole last night and got very sick then my tongue and pallet swelled with my tongue burning and the roof of my mouth burning. I am allergic to FD&C yellow 5 and 6. Is this the name for yellow 10 and why do they put this into medicine when so many asthmatics have this allergy? The FDA should ban all colors in pills to help with this and make drug companies stamp the name of the drug on the pill or some other type of identification. ## No, FD&C Yellow 5 and 6, are Yellow 5, and Yellow 6, Yellow 10 is a different one, that's why they are numbered like that, to tell them apart. Many companies have been removing the colors, due to the fact that some people are sensitive, or allergic to them. The FDA didn't ban them, because overall, they are generally considered s...

However this still leaves a wide variety of prospects (be it illicit, foreign, OTC, etc)... So I think the only way to find out for certain would be to have its contents ...
