I have been taking antihistamines for nasal allergies the past 2 years. Is it normal or abnormal to be using them for so long. ## What has your doctor advised on this situation? I was given alrex yesterday for eye inflammation. Had 2 doses yesterday and eye does not feel any better, Does it take a few days to get relief? I took 52 mgs of cyproheptadine in one dose. I didn't know it caused weight gain. I don't want to gain weight just wanted to sleep. If I stop now will I still gain the unwanted weight? And when will it leave my body? My mother is 56 years old very weak suffering from fully damaged left lung & 10% of right lung affected due to TB 40 years back. Now there is no TB but she is coughing and having breathing problem, both severely since more than a month. Dr. has prescribed her NefroSave from Fourrts (Taurine 500 & Acetylcysteine 150) 2 tablets morning 2 tablets night along with other tabs & inhalers. Will it be safe for her having 2-2 tablets daily for 1 month? Does it also increases cough in some patients? I am suffering from chronic cold & cough. I took moxikind CV 625 3 days course. ambrolite D syrup Responil syrup is continued, then also I am unable to sleep. I think they are selling Visine LR on the internet, but it is very expensive. It is the only gtts that work for me. Have been searching for it for two months. can we use zincold tablets for cold ## Hi chappu, From what I've researched, Zincold contains the three active ingredients Cetirizine + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol, which are marketed for use as an antihistamine, a decongestant, and a pain reliever/fever reducer for treating various symptoms that may be associated with the common cold (such as congestion, sinus pressure, discomfort, etc). So while Zincold wont take the cold away, it looks like its supposed to help with some of the symptoms that often come with a cold. Are you doing anything else to help combat symptoms as well or has the Zincold been working fine on its own? Feel better soon!

It is sold under the name Cough Cold HBP, meaning it is designated as safe for people with high blood pressure. White round pill one side T-M other side SCORE LINE , WHAT IS THIS????? ## Hi Saku, I don't know if this is your pill, but from what I could gather, a company by the name of T&M Distributors reportedly makes a white round 30mg Pseudoephedrine HCL tablet with the letters T & M on one side and cross scored on the other. It also carries a National Drug Code of 99999000256. The imprint seems so similar to your description that I wonder if it would be a good idea to contact T&M Distributors directly in order to find out if they played any role in making your tablet as well. Can benadryl and alks-seltzer be taken together? One for allergy and the other for an upset stomache? ## Hello, Ellen! How are you? I didn't find any problems listed between them, so it should be fine as long as your doctor approves. However, mixing the Aspirin in the AlkaSeltzer with the Benadryl may make you far more drowsy than usual, so you may fall asleep for a few hours. Thus, it would be best not to mix them, if you need to be driving or operating any dangerous machinery. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

From what I've been able to find, these are over the counter chewable tablets for children, they are listed as being a cold remedy. They originally contained Pseudoephedrine and Acetaminophen, but they may have been changed to Phenylephrine, but I can't find any current information on that. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, excitability and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
