So I've taken benadryl off and on, especially when I didn't have a prescription for loratadine back in the old days for my allergies, usually one every night. But the other day I took two in the span of three hours. 50 mg. I fell asleep for an hour later, and woke up with muscle weakness, later constipation, frequent urination, and a few others that I'm embarrassed to admit. I'm hoping that the "few others" were just my imagination, because I feel like 50 mg would be physically impossible to produce these side effects in 160 pound person? Or can you suddenly find yourself with a drug allergy? I hope not, because Benadryl is cheap, compared to loratadine which is 1 dollar a day. I've suffered with low iron for over 20 yrs..only taking prescription iron pills..and otc...because of GI issues relating to iron pills my GI doctor decided on ferritin IV infusions. My side effects arent bad if given benadryl..My only issue is seeing NO change.after now my 3rd infusion .Im still extremely weak and can no longer work. I used some tac 0.1 in eucerin cream on my face in spots were zits would not go away and now I look like I have full blown acne. it has little blisters. My MD prescribed this for inflammation in head, ears, nose, throat and cough along with an inhaler. I am on day 5 and although I am improving, I still have a nasty dry cough which has not improved. Maybe I am not using the inhaler properly. I do have some side effects from the methylpred 4mg but tolerable. I would like to take something for this persistant cough but am afraid to mix with meds. However the precautions also state that it is not recommended for this cream to be used on delicate skin areas like groin, armpits, face, etc; so it may not necessarily be a good idea to apply it directly inside your vulva, but rather on the outskirts of it. In my opinion, it may even be best to contact your doctor for appropriate information on how to apply the dressing.
