Based off this information alone, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to take the two together. I've also never heard of anyone having issues using these substances coherently. But if still in doubt, I'd encourage you to cross reference additional interaction data and maybe even contact your doctor for a second opinion since this doesn't necessarily mean that no interactions exist. Hope this helps! ## I am taking 100 mg doxycycline. tablet every 12 hours for 7 days. Can I ...
Hi, kindly help I have a friend who is paranoid and has been taking D.P.H. syrup for +- six months, he says it helps him to calm down, are there any side effects he is getting worse on his condition Regards Khantu ## Hello, Khantu! How is your friend doing? This syrup is listed as containing Diphenhydramine, it is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergic reactions, anxiety and as a sleep aid. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. If his condition is worsening, he should consult a doctor for help. It could be dangerous if he keeps taking more and more of this to handle his symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

How many two take at a time for adult an swhT happen if you take 3 ## Hi Kelia, From what I could gather, this light blue oblong pill is an OTC antihistamine / sleep aid containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Ref: Discuss/light-blue-oblong-pill-263-half-circle-and-line-183407.htm I don't know what would happen if you take 3, but personally I wouldn't advise taking anything more than what the directions state on the box; unless given the O-K through your doctor. If the recommended dose doesn't suffice, it may just be a good idea to look into other forms of antihistamines or sleep aids, depending on what you're using it for...

I cannot breeze trough my nose very irritated I used too much Zicam Wold Metronidazol help take off irritation inside nose ? ## I have nostrils inflamed because of too much use of Zicam Is Metronidazol good to use to go back to normal ? ## Hello, Angelo! How are you? No, Metronidazole is an antibiotic and it's only effective at treating bacterial infections. It won't do anything to help with this type of irritation. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and diarrhea. You will most likely need to just give it some time for the irritation to ease, unless your doctor feels it requires treatment. Is there anything else I can help with?
i found a tiny little white pill with nothing but the letter S on it, what is it? ## Hi kristi, Is there by chance a letter "S" on each side of the pill, or is it just on one side? And if it is only on one side, is there a score line on the other side? - This appears to be the deciding factor between the two possible matches I have come across. If there is a letter "S" on each side of the pill then the round white pill is a 25mg Sominex sleep aid pill; the active ingredient being Diphenhydramine. If there is an "S" on only one side with a score line on the other, then the pill is more than likely a 50mg Serophene tablet. Serophene is a fertility drug used to increase the chance of getting pregnant. It is used to help women ovulate (produce a mature egg) properly ...
How much Benadryl would have to be taken for a positive Benzo. result? And if that person had not been taking Benadryl for 6 days, would you still expect a positive result? ## Since most of the substances that cause false positives are learned through anecdotal experience and testing is only done later, the precise amounts that may cause it usually aren't known, however, it's been known to happen with a single, regular dose of 25mgs. As to how long you may get a false positive result, the half-life of Benadryl can range from 2 to 8 hours and the length of time it takes for something to be processed out of the human body is usually 5 to 6 half lives, so it may be detectable for anywhere from 10 to 48 hours. Are there any other questions or comments? ## but can u come out positive...
Just wanted to know what it is, cause I found it in my kid's room. ## Hello, Jim! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 12.5mgs of Promethazine, which is most commonly used to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
My husband has been taking Cardioace plus : omega3 supplement for a long time he took around 140 capsules through out a period of 4 months, however, we have just figured out that the cough, chest pain and breathing difficulties he was suffering from were side effects of cardioace. How long will it take his system to flush that supplement ? Thank you ## Since it is a supplement, rather than a medication, there is really no way to say, since they are not tested and studied as thoroughly as medications are. As to symptoms he is experiencing, has he talked to a doctor, yet? The concern here is that those are not normal symptoms experienced when one is taking a supplement like this. However, there is a warning about people who's heart function is already compromised and using an Omega-3 ...
Benadryl dosage is to take 1 or 2, I take 4 or 5 every night. I know it's not good to do but allergies keep coming and my allergist keeps telling me to do what i'm doing right now. Any bad side effect? Is this the reason why I got allergic to 14 medications? Only 4 were alletgy medicines. Zolpidem isn't long term but I can't sleep without as I take it with my pain meds, Xolaire, Ranitidine, and Benadryl. Made records on insomnia. Doctor overdosed me and didn't want to get in trouble. 53 days of no sleep as I was on Trazidone, Temazepam, Seroquel, and Ambian. Only sharing that info because of thisvquestion: Is this part of the reason as to why i'm getting allergic to some the second time I go on them again? Not trying to whine BUT my allergist told me; "Your a ha
Updated in BenadrylI used Visine LR for over 20 years. Since its discontinuation, I've researched many eye drops and their ingredients. The only one that works amazingly, is Opcon-A! The oxymetazoline is absent but nephazoline is just as effective. My eyes are not red and lasts long periods. Thank goodness because I thought I would never find an alternative. ## I agree with Inna. I buy the Opcon-A from Amazon as an alternative to Visine LR. You get two bottles for under $9.00 and it works similar to Visine LR. ## @Inna, I appreciate the heads up on the replacement for Visine LR. There's a actually pretty popular discussion thread here on the topic of Visine LR with many people from around the world searching for an alternative. I think if you were to repost this over there as well, a lot of them w...
Diphenhydramine HCI 25 mg-Night time sleep-aid ## Hello, Nicolle! How are you? While it is used as a sleep aid, because it causes drowsiness as a side effect, this is actually an antihistamine. This is the same active ingredient that's found in Benadryl and used to treat allergic reactions. Other side effects may also include dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is this good for Flem in the lungs and throat. Thanks
efects gods or bads of daflonex sr 900 ## Difference in components etween Daflonex 600MG, and Daflonex SE 900mg. I cannot find the Daflonex 600mg that I regularly use. My allergies Aspirine, Berries, Carrots, Eggs. ## Daflonex is actually a supplement which contains Hesperidin, it is believed to be an anti-oxidant, with anti-inflammatory and sedative properties. That said, since this is a supplement, it is actually not proven to help with anything and possibly side effects are unknown. I also can't find any information on whether or not the components are different between the two. I was prescribed Nasonex for two months last autumn and am now reaping the benefits. I have constant nose bleeds and am now allergic the various things including paint. I am due to have cauterisation for damaged blood vessel which was caused by this drug. ## Hello, Paulie! How are you doing? I'm sorry about what you've experienced. Unfortunately, every medication carries the risk of possibly causing side effects and some long-term damage, it's just what happens when you add a chemical to the body to try to correct a problem. The FDA lists its other most common side effects as possibly including headache, taste disturbances, diarrhea and nausea. When are you having the procedure?
Can a nursing mother take cyproheptadine? ## Hello, Rose! How are you? From what I've found, yes, it can be taken, but the FDA reports that some nursing infants have experienced irritability and drowsiness, when exposed to such medications via the breastmilk. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Has your doctor prescribed it for you?
177 TL ## I need a refill for promethazine with codeine vc purple cough syrup but am not sure what limit my doctor imposes. ## I just got a codeine and promethazine bottle - how long do i have to wait before I refill it? Due to the fact it fell over in my sink and all of it drained away :( ## Please help me find actavis, its the only brand that works for me. Also, i have certain allergies. ## What doctor prescribed it to you? did you have to wait 3 days for refill? ## If you're looking to refill your prescription it should say on the printout how long your current supply is intended to last, and then you'd probably need to follow up with your doctor so they can call a refill in if needed. Although because this medication contains a narcotic ingredient I doubt they would allow lo...
I found a drawer full of small pink, oblong pills, with a v inside and oval on one side and 25 on the back. please identify ## I've been looking for this one, off an on as time permits, since I first saw your post, but I can't find anything listed under this imprint in the U.S. prescription drug databases. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? There are several possibilities, it could be something that is new to the market and hasn't been listed in the databases, yet. It could be an over the counter product, since they aren't required to list their imprints with the FDA. Or it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I will keep checking our site, as well as a few others and post back, if I find anything. ## hello i found the same pills on ...
