I have a large, oblong, peach or beige colored pill that was on the kitchen table this morning. Neither my husband nor I recognize it. We're in an RV. Think it may have fallen out of our medicine bag which holds prescription as well as OTC medication. ## Hello, Judeela! How are you? That imprint is rather vague, so I can't be 100% sure… Do either of you take Allegra/Fexofenadine for allergies? I've seen some tablets of it that kind of resemble what you describe, but since it's available over the counter, not all of them are listed in the medication databases. The FDA lists its typical side effects as including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache.

My husband has a feeding tube and can't keep anything down. He has a few promethazine 25 mg left. He wants to know if he can crush one and put it down his feeding tube? ## Hello, Christna! How is your husband doing? Promethazine can be crushed, but I am not sure of the safety of putting it in his feeding tube. Does anyone else know? Have you asked his doctor? Don't feel well had allergy issues. Take allergy meds every day. ## Hello, Martha! How are you? Has there been any change? There are a couple of possibilities as to why you're experiencing this, according to the NIH, it may be acid reflux from the medications, or congestion from the allergies. Nausea can be a normal side effect of some antihistamines, it can also be a symptom of sinus drainage. Which allergy medications are you taking? That may help narrow down the issue.

What to do when a 60 year old male takes an APO 020 (20mg) not prescribed to him? He has been taking 2-3 pills at least once a day for 3-4 days. His symptoms are dry cough, fever, earaches, fatigue, vomiting, black stuff and leg cramps. ## Call poison control or his doctor ASAP. APO 020 Omeprazole is not one of those common "recreational" drugs so he should not get in trouble for it, and they can tell you the appropriate course of treatment. As far as treating GERD (I assume that's what he is taking it for??), he may also wish to consider Apple Cider Vinegar supplementation in the future as long as his doctor says it's okay. My mom was able to get herself off the Omeprazole permanently by incorporating ACV into her diet. Hope this helps and best wishes!

I recently tested positive for benzodiazepines but I have not taken any benzodiazepines. Is it possible that a sleep aid containing diphenhydramine or benadryl can cause this false positive for benzos? ## Yes, Diphenhydramine, which is the active ingredient in Benadryl and added to many OTC sleep aids, has been known to cause a false positive for Benzodiazepines and PCP. I have sneezing problem which is from last 2 years. I have gone from allergists to chest specialist Doctors.. All I got was nasal spray and alegra. Now the condition is I have to take 1 tablet daily to avoid sneezing. If I miss the tablet one day I wil have sneezes all the way. So continuing with alegra is safe for me. That may not seem like a lot, but if someone is taking it regularly, or took it close to the time their serum alcohol was tested, it could result in a positive result. Can't stop itching in the top of my mouth. I thought it might be allergies but my right ear keeps itching. Also, I've been known to have middle ear infections. Can this ampicilina 500 help? ## It would be best to have it checked out, before taking anything. There's a chance that the itching in your mouth could be an oral yeast infection and, if that is the case, taking an antibiotic could make it worse. A yeast infection requires an antifungal medication. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. As to the itching of your ear, it's possible that it just needs cleaned. Excess wax often causes that. Are you on any medications?

yes it does its happen to me and my mom several times ## I tested positive for something called Tricyclic antidepressant when I took sominex, once. ## That happen to me today. I didn't no but they said they needed to send in for more testing. Will it show what I took ## I've also found that OTC med like Tylenol PM can trigger a false positive. I am taking clopitab 75, Istamet, seloken xl 25, rozavel-f 20 and I am having skin rashes/itching.
