What is the usual recommended dosage of Wikoryl oral suspension? My daughter is 19 months old and weighs around 12kgs. She has a cough, runny nose and slight fever. I don't know how much ml I should be giving her? ## My baby is 18 months old and weighs around 8kg. She has a running nose & fever. I don't how many milliliters of Wikoryl I should be giving her?

I am in a pain management and I signed documents saying I would NOT violate the contract and they are saying my Urine test came back that I have a very small level of methamphetamine and Benzomines or something like that in my UrineTest ands I may be fired because of this test...So I am trying to figure what would cause this in my Urine test. I havnt seen a doctor yet, my cough is getting worst, I take Bioflu, because I have a cough and cold, I felt that my throat is ripping. Can i take a Cetrizine hydrocholride 10 mg tablet twice daily for a cold? I am a 60 year old lady. ## This is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergies, it will not help with a cold and the symptoms caused by a cold. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## 100% incorrect. Hi currently on holiday in Bali and my three year has picked up a bad chesty cough. She has mild asthma but her inhalers weren't helping so got hotel doctor to take a look. He came this morning and gave her ambroxol 15mg syrup and told us to give her 7.5mls three times a day. I'm very worried after looking this medication up on line as dosage recommended seems to be 2.5 mls for children her age. She hasn't had any reaction but wonder if we need another opinion or of anyone has had a similar experience and if this doseage is ok????

Does tussionex syrup show up the same as 10/325 hydro on a pain management urine screen? ## If it's a comprehensive test that is sent to the lab (Toxassure, etc) it will show up as hydrocodone, and metabolites of hydrocodone (norhydrocodone, etc. ) - so make sure you're honest. ## Yes, they should both show up as Hydrocodone, depending on the test used, according to NIH studies. It would take a very in-depth study to detect the Acetaminophen and Chlorpheniramine, which is not usually done. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How did your test go?

What does this pill treat or used for ## Hello, Bart! How are you? I believe the marking you're looking at is actually TCL 272. This tablet is manufactured by Time Cap Laboratories and they list it as containing 400mgs of Guaifenesin, which is an expectorant most commonly used to treat cold symptoms. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have A 272 rather than TLC that you've mentioned. Do you know what that is?

I want to know if the combination of acebrophylline and guaifenesin have a synergistic effect in the treatment of a productive cough? ## It is possible, and you should take them if a medical provider has instructed you to do so. But overall, it really depends on what is causing the cough. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Have they helped you, at all? My 7 year old has been on it for about 4 months now. She recently started complaining about her back and abdomen hurting. I'm trying to find out if it's side effects from this drug? ## Those aren't listed as typical side effects, according to NIH studies, but there's no way to say how any given medication will affect anyone that tries it, especially a child. Is she on any other medications? Has anything else changed in her diet, or activity levels recently?

My husband has been taking Coveram for the last 3 years. Suddenly last night he was presented with a large tong very sore and swollen throat. Tong was so big could not fit in his mouth. Could hardly breeth. Rushed to hospital. Took all the medication with us to hospital. After a few tests and examination dr found it to be due to amlodipien in Coveram. He is recovering now. ## It is possible, that could be an allergic reaction, according to NIH reports. But how did the doctor determine that was the case? Is he on any other medications? Has this ever happened, before? Does he have allergies to anything else? Did his dosage recently change?
