Can I take Betamox 500 and Allergex pills at the same time? I have a rash on my skin and it's itchy so I'm taking Allergex and they do not seem to be working. Today I got Betamox 500. Can I take both pills at the same time? I am taking methadone and oxycodone for pain management. I get them from the VA. I was injured in Iraq. The VA Clinic told me that my last urinalysis came back negative for oxycodone. I take my methadone and oxycodone as prescribed and cannot think why it would come back negative. The only thing I can think of is that I take Benadryl sometimes at night to help me sleep. Is there anyway that the Benadryl can cause a false negative? The VA has taken the oxycodone away because they say I'm abusing my prescription. I purchase my Drixoral at Costco and have ebeen told they are no longer able to get it, because it is be reformulated, is this correct ## I usually get mine at Walmart. They cannot get it, either. No explanation. I hope they did not find something dangerous with it. ## Maybe you can try to find a small Mom n' Pop pharmacy that still compounds formulas. The active ingredients in this med are Dexbrompheniramine and Pseudoephedrine. Hi, I'm really upset today because I'm in drug rehab (voluntarily) and was told today that I tested positive last week for opiates and benzodiapines. I am positive that I haven't taken any of these! I have been really working hard in rehab and am devastated by this'! I had one relapse and admitted it, even though it never came up on a test. The only medications that I have been taking any differently are some nighttime cold medicine for cough and a generic like Walgreens version if Benadryl during the day for allergies. Also I'm on prescriptions; Wellbutrin, Buspar, Resperidone and Trazadone, but I've been on them for awhile and haven't come up positive. The pill is round, not scored, back side has no inscription/blank, and the front side of pill, although not scored appears as if the top is labeled IP and benieth the IP inscription is the number 46. I was tested by cps for drugs. I was told , yet shown no evidence that I tested positive for methamphetimine. I had a few needles laying out as I take diabetes insulin. Other than that I do not take anything but asperin. Then in conversation with the crisis line I found out nyquil,vicks inhaler, and eyedrops for algeries...which I didn't consider drugs and zyrtec..which I had taken weeks before could have caused the false positive. If I tested positive for methamphetamine because of claritin d (and now that sample is sent to be retested at the lab), can they tell it was a false positive? ## Claritin D has ephedrine in it. Just simply explain that you took claritin D. It's not technically a false positive because it contains a key component. ## J, I'm not 100% sure but I believe that Clariton D has pseudoephedrine HCL in it which would show up as you using Meth. I've had the same problem with an OTC sinus medication that I take coming back as being positive for Meth. I paid for a confirmation test($32) which came back as being negative for Meth.
