Blue Pill oblong with capital letter PNE... Type "Desenfriol-D Mexico", you will see the picture. It's an over the counter cold medicine in Mexico. ## Hi Ana, Thanks for the heads up on this pill ID. Many foreign tablets from outside of the US can be difficult to pinpoint since there are little to no references available online at this time. So being able to rely on good people like yourself to post details on these types of pills is truly a great thing and perhaps our best bet (as a community for keeping everyone informed); next to a lab analysis or simply canning it due to not finding any clues at all. To other readers: Desenfriol-D reportedly contains a combination of: Chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg + Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg + Paracetamol 500mg It has also been stat...

What is this pill with 7S? It is blue in color. ## This is most likely an over the counter product because I did not find the inscription listed in the NIH's pillbox data. So to me that means it is probably not a prescription drug because those are cataloged extensively. I also found another page on medschat where someone said that they got similar pills inside an OTC container labeled Simply Sleep, but they suspected that the 7s pill was from another bottle originally. All in all, it could possibly be an over the counter sleep aid containing Diphenhydramine, but I cannot say for sure simply because it is not cataloged as a prescription drug.

Is this medicine good for a cough, congestion and fever? ## Hi Michelle, ampicillin is an antibiotic used 4 infections. Usually, if u have a fever, u have an infection going on. Did the Dr give it 2 u 4 your symptoms? If so, then, u r all set. Hope u feel better. ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? If you just have a cold, then an antibiotic won't help, because it only treats bacterial infections and a cold is a viral infection. Was this prescribed to treat it? ## I have my root canal missing except the inner wall of that tooth it's right now so swollen . It's hurting ever since earlier when I was cleaning it a piece of my gum size of a crumb came out . Is it safe to take avil every day? does it have any side effect. i am suffering from skin allergy since childhood. now i am 21 yrs old . some potions of my skin swells up and itches. usually it happens on hands and legs. it happens generally during night. ## It is generally not normal for an allergy to only occur at night. Have you seen a doctor for this and had any tests performed? Most actual allergies will occur all the time, at any time of day, due to your bodies histamine response to something you are allergic to. In many cases, when it occurs only on the hands, feet and/or legs, at night, it is due to a problem with circulation, so it is very important to consult a doctor to rule this out or get treatment if that is what's causing it. And all medications carry the risk of side...

The problem with HealthCare. Follow the money. Pharmaceutical companies do not make great profits if it is over the counter. Drug Stores make more on prescriptions. The government abused our healthcare for decades. Now...they are making it socialist healthcare. This way...the government gets in on the cost of healthcare...so what is new? We know the "pharmacy interests" in having some meds removed from the consumer. I had bronchitis and coughs when young. One teaspoon of Terpin Hydrate immediately stopped the cough and sometimes the cough did not return. Terpin Hydrate, cheap over the counter...no RX. As I understand it....because of the gin? some were using it for alcohol. The codeine for pain or just relief from pain. Paregoric was good for baby’s teething. ...

Pregnant woman can be use this medicine? ## Buclizine is not a multivitamin, it is an antihistamine that is also used to help prevent nausea and it is not recommended for use in pregnant women, because animal studies have shown risk to the baby. Learn more Buclizine details here. A regular multivitamin can be taken by pregnant women, as long as their doctor hasn't told them not to take one, so they should check with their physician first. I'm feeling miserable with tearing eyes, running nose and sneezing. Cetirizine makes me shake, so that's out of the question. I want Pyribenzamine (Tripelennamine) - it was the only thing that ever worked. Does Mexico have it? I'm close enough to the border to go to Nogales. ## I finally got 90 capsules of Pyribenzamine (Tripelennamine) from my compounding pharmacy (Metcalf) in Brevard, NC today for $130. I just took the first one. My mother would give me half a tab as a kid (crushed with sugar and water) and it quelled my allergies. I hope it will work better than what I've been taking (Zyrtec and Claritin). For many years as a teenager and adult, I used Ornade but it is no longer available either. If you have your compounding pharmacy contact Metcalf, I'm sure they...

I have what I believe is a spider bite on my thigh that is red and swollen. It has a hard mass just under the skin and hurts to have anything touch it. The bite is two small puncture holes but the swelling and dark redness much larger, the whole inside of my thigh. My neighbor gave me these pink pills with 44-239 to take for this, what do you think about that? ## Hello, Jeff! How are you? You need to see a doctor for this, it may need to be lanced and drained, from your description, that sounds venomous, rather than just like an allergic reaction. The tablets you've been given are just over the counter 25mg Diphenhydramine, a generic for Benadryl, used to treat allergies and allergic reactions. They will not do much if you've got an abscess forming from venom. Is there anything ...

I found this pill oval one side is p 525 n other side is plain is it hydro or wat ## @Tuty, Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is an oval "white" pill marked with P 525, manufactured by Athlon Pharma. This particular pill reportedly contains 525mgs of guaifenesin + 50mg of pseudoephedrine, and is marketed under the trade name "Entex PSE". As far as applications go, pseudoephedrine is a decongestant and guaifenesin is an expectorant. I realize that the color of your pill is notably different, however this is the only search result I've seen that closely resembles it. Hope this helps! Does anyone else here recognize the pill as being something different? ## I found two blue oval pills in my generic tylenol bottle: \ with p525 and they are guaf...

I take prescription drugs and came up recently with a positive urine test for methamphetamines. Could any of these have caused this? I take bupropion 100mg 3xday, albuterol inhaler, also due to coughing I have been taking nyquil liquid cold medicine, and oxycodone 10-325 every 6 hrs for pain. I was also taking Lyrica for fybromylagia? ## Some cold medicines and allergy medicines will show up as methamphetamine and amphetamine ## This is a complicated issue and should be addressed by a MRO. A Medical Review Officer (MRO) is a doctor trained to look at all the prescription etc... to see why something is causing a false positive for Methamphetamine. You can find an MRO in your area at their association web site aamro.com. I have no affiliation with the web site. My best professional guess ...

Can Loratadine 10mg antihistamine 24-hour relief tablets (made by Perrigo) be purchased over-the-counter or does it require a prescription? ## Hi Rick, To answer your question, yes, Loratadine is available over-the-counter here in the US and does not require a prescription. According to NIH, some common brand names you might find it under are: Claritin, Allergy Relief (loratadine) & Claritin Liqui-Gel. Alavert, Children's Allergy Relief, Wal-itin, Children's Claritin, Non-Drowsy Allergy, Claritin RediTabs, & Loradamed, just to name a few... However, depending on your location/country, brand names & availability are subject to vary. I hope this helps!

What happens if you drink alot of this stuff? ## Well, as with the abuse of any medication, be it prescription or over the counter, you run the risk of getting sick, causing organ damage or possibly killing yourself. Cheratussin AC contains Codeine and Guaifensin, the Codeine is a narcotic, so this makes it even more dangerous as you can overdose on these fairly quickly. You can read more here: Do you have any other questions? ## I accidently given my child 2/3 mg of Cheratussin AC for a cough. The prescribed dosage is 1/3mg. I have been taking Xyzal (levocetirizine dihydrochloride) along with ornidazole 500mg + ofloxacin 200mg for four days now to treat a UTI. I have also been on diamox and slow-k., along with drulatan and brimopress eye drops for my open-angle glaucoma. However, my eye pressure just keeps increasing since I started the treatment for the urinary tract infection. Could any of the antibiotics or the levocetirizine be causing it? Thanks.

more of a capsule shape pink in color no imprint on either side ## Hello, Judy! How are you? Without any imprints, it's difficult to narrow down an identification with any certainty. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription tablet, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means that it's most likely an over the counter product and that leaves it wide open to many possibilities. Just as an example, I have some tablets matching this description sitting on my shelf right now, they contain 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, a store brand of Benadryl, which is used to treat allergies. Several pharmacies would not fill the prescription, and they said it is no longer an approved cough medicine... This cough medicine worked...What is comparable that is available? ## No, Tussionex was one of the ones that did receive FDA approval. There are also several others that contain the same active ingredients that are approved, such as Hycodan, Mycodone, and Tussigon. Perhaps you should ask your doctor about prescribing one of them. They do warn that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Has anyone else had trouble obtaining this one? ## Thank you...yes, I understand the addictive properties, but a little 4 oz bottle once or twice a year (that really stops the cough so ...
