Can diphenhydramine 50mg be used for cold and cough? ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? It is an antihistamine, so it may help a little, but it will not do anything to eradicate the cold itself, that just has to run its course. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness and dry mouth. They also have a version specifically to help with cold symptoms that contains additional ingredients. Are you on any other medications? ## Not for the cold, but for diabetes and hypertension.

I have tested positive for Amph could one of this done that. ## Will Atrovent HFA 17 meg/inh or Ventolin HFA (albuterol sulfate) make me test positive for methamphetamine on a urine drug test? ## I tested positive for amphetamines. I am taking cipro senna and ventolin inhaler. Could the inhalercause this? ## I, too, am testing positive for methamphetamine while using atrovent hfa. Proventil and all my other meds never caused this; only the addition of atrovent. I am going to discontinue it. ## I am on the original albuteral, (white canister) and pro air, Ventolin and nebulizer, machine, and I don't do drugs but everywhere I had to drop each came up DIRTY. said I have Amphetamines in my urine. I am in pain management and am prescribed oxycodone, lyrica,and elavil. I had a UA last month so I didnt expect one this month so I didn something I have NEVER done before. I tried "meth" or "high speed chicken feed". Plz dont judge me. I know it was stupid and its not something I will ever do again, but I was out of my meds, felt like crap and this was offered to me. I was told it would give me some energy and IF I was tested would only show up as ephedrine because its made with sudafed, and all I had to do was tell my doc I had taken the sudafed. In the year 2000 my friend suggested me to use Practine and Dexona for gaining weight. I did the same. I found my face is becoming big and people are telling that I am gaining weight. I used it for One month. After three to four months I felt uneazyness in my upper abdomen while sitting. I just took it carelessly. Day by day it increased. This company happens to have a cursive-like "R" on many of their pills, alongside a two digit number. Dr took away pain meds (oxycodone) after getting presumptive positive(A) FOR amphetamines. Two weeks ago he prescribed me OTC allergy meds. I got lortadine tabs and was taking one a day. I went to the Dr (er) for getting sick and disoriented at work. They ambulanced me to another hospital afraid I had an infection going to my brain. They had found trace of leukocyte esterase in ua. They then did lumbar puncture at this hospital. Had me on no iv or monitors whatsoever and sent me home with diagnosis of headache and disorientation. I went to the hospital today and tested positive for amphetamines in my urine. I have NOT had Methamphetamine in 4 years! I don't understand! I am worried sick about this because they diagnosed ME WITH ILLEGAL DRUG USE/ABUSE! I take prescription Loratadine (not Loratadine D).
