White Oblong Pill Score Ph 063

I found a pill in my son's room. I don't know what it is. It is a white oblong pill with a score PH 063 on one side. Does anyone know what this pill is?

This is another one that has been posted about a few times recently, but I can't find a listing for it.

Several people in a related discussion thread have stated this to be Guaifenesin 400 mg (a generic Mucinex), which is used to thin out mucus.

It is a generic Mucinex...I use them.

It is mucus relief dm and it contains DXM, which can make you feel like you're high or something.

Actually, it is just the basic generic Mucinex Expectorant, there is no Anti-Histamine associated with it...

dxm does not make you feel high. is that all your about is getting high? grow the f*** up buddy there's more to life than looking for ways to stay high

Actually, your wrong. When you hear about dumbass teenagers drinkin cough syrup to get high, they are talkin about DXM. I know, because 25 yrs ago I was one of those dumbass kids. Infact, it has enough of an intoxicating effect, that here used to be a big problem with people selling it to people as ecstasy. It led to alot of medical complication, as it has adverse reactions with some of the other drugs that people that like to do X also like to ingest. It can be very dangerous when not taken as directed. I cant believe how dumb I was when I was 16.

Ummmmm DXM is something parents are being warned about. When taken in high doses it can alter the state of mind. Kids are drinking entire bottles of cough syrup OTC not with codiene and taking it with other OTC products to achieve an out of body feeling. It's causing deaths more than you'd think. This product does not contain the DXM though, alternate products by this manufacturer do. As a parent I think it is very pertinent information to have finding a strange pill in a child's room....

"your wrong" should be "you're wrong" - geez - do you not know basic grammar????? "Your" shows possession - "you're" is a contraction of "you are".....

PH 063 Is Mucinex for chest congestion. The main ingredient is guaifenesin 400 mg.
