Does this have what is needed to assist with pluracy? ## Tussionex contains Chlorpheniramine, commonly used to treat allergies and Hydrocodone, a narcotic, commonly used in this manner to reliever coughing. That said, NO, Pleurisy is fluid around the lungs, neither one of these will treat that. is this what your doctor prescribed for you?

I have been taking Deselex for the last year, non-stop, due to allergic rhinitis and the high pollen count here in Cape Town (SA). This month, i did not get to the chemist in time, and within 3 days, my body was covered with acute urtiricaria (hives)... how can this be possible, especially since I have never suffered from this condition before, and my diet has not changed at all.??? ## Well, we aren't medical professionals, so we can't provide a diagnosis, but there are several possibilities. It could be caused from a new allergy, they can develop suddenly, or it could be a withdrawal or rebound symptom from suddenly not having your usual dosage of this medication. This often happens when people stop a medication abruptly that they have been taking for a prolonged period of time...
