What are the known side effect of this medication? ## I'd also like to know about the prescribed indications of this drug. ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## I was prescribed Zertin for a hard cough. I took it twice daily along with Cefalexin thrice daily. ## Could you be referring to Erdosteine? It's a mucolytic, typically prescribed for chronic bronchitis and other obstructive conditions. Wikoryl (an Indian brand medicine for cough& Cold). Is there any medicine equivalent in US with the same formulation. This formulations seems to be the most effective for me. ## I am finding conflicting information, it appears there may be several different formulations, do you know which specific one you are asking about? ## Would you be able to post the active ingredients of this medication from the packaging? That would make it easier to find something that's equivalent to it.

pink rectangular pill with imprint RE 316 ## Sorry, I can't find a listing for a tablet with this marking and I've tried several databases. Does anyone else know anything about this tablet? ## Is there any way that you could have meant the imprint PE 316 instead of RE ?? Sometimes those letters can look confusingly similar in imprints. If that is a possibility then it could be an allergy medication containing Dextromethorphan 45 mg + Guaifenesin 1200 mg. Such obscure imprint codes usually point to over-the-counter products...

Can febrex be used for Sore Throat. If not which is the best medicine for Sore throat ## this site is not medical professionals, so we can't possibly suggest what you should use, proper treatment really depends on what is causing the sore throat, which could be anything from allergies to an infection. Have you seen a doctor? Febrex contains Chlorpheniramine, Phenyephrine and Acetaminophen, so it can help with some pain and cold symptoms, but if something else is causing your sore throat, it won't.

Oblong hot pink pill with an upside-down V with a tiny P inside it, plus the numbers 135. No markings on the other side. ## I can't find any information on a tablet with these markings. Does anyone else know anything about it? ## Based on the logo which you described, it sounded like the manufacturer was Advance Pharmaceuticals (a.k.a. Watson). Turns out my hunch was right - This is an over the counter allergy medication called DIPHENHIST® CAPTABS 25 mg, containing the active ingredient Diphenhydramine (it's comparable to Benadryl). If you go to the manufacturer's product list and scroll down the page about half way you will see it listed there. Hope this helps!
