I am affacted by CA prostate. IGRT done 9months back,on hormon theropy. uncontrol uranating problem with low stream last three months on Flotral tablets, problelm subsided to some extent but feeling much weak there after..If taking tablet is ommited in a night, next day lazyness disapear. should i continue ? ## Hello, Based on my research, the medication Flotral contains the active ingredient Alfuzosin. Alfuzosin is used to treat BPH and the duration of treatment depends on how well your condition responds to the treatment. ## Takes time to urinate . So far taking Tamlet 4 .my prostate is also enlarged (was30g 10 years back) am 60 years of age ! Last time in 2000 Doctors checked my bladder and advised strictures at the neck of bladder , they did needful and told to take medicines like Tamlet 4 and may be at some age when Prostate grows more large ,may advise for Operation ! I was recently switched from Alfuzosin Hydrochloride produced by Sun to one produced by Apotex. The only difference was the inactive ingredients. After the switch, I experienced two back-to-back episodes of severe dizziness and prolonged headaches after heavy exercise. I never experienced this severity during many years on the Sun product. I am wondering if there is are any active ingredients in the Apotex product which could have caused this - Dibasic Calcium Phosphate, Polyvinyl acetate phthalate, or Ferric Oxide Yellow. Flotral is a foreign brand name for Alfuzosin, it is used to treat urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate or BPH. Side effects may include asura, headache, ED and priapism. How have you been instructed to take it by your doctor? If they advised you to take it with dinner, then you should do that.
