Side Effect Of Flotral

I am affacted by CA prostate. IGRT done 9months back,on hormon theropy. uncontrol uranating problem with low stream last three months on Flotral tablets, problelm subsided to some extent but feeling much weak there after..If taking tablet is ommited in a night, next day lazyness disapear. should i continue ?

Hello,

Based on my research, the medication Flotral contains the active ingredient Alfuzosin. The most common side effects of Alfuzosin are dizziness (due to postural hypotension), upper respiratory tract infection, headache, and fatigue.

The only dosing/administration information I have been able to find states that this medication should be taken after the same meal each day. It shouldn't cause any problems to take this medication after your latest meal (dinner), that may keep you from experiencing fatigue during the day.

Hi! Flotral was prescribed to me for repeated UTI, reason bladder was not emptying fully and so the infection. It's 21 days course. So after the course will I be ok?

I was taking Dutas T since last 18 months ,The urinary problem is reduced but Iam getting laziness .Now doctor changed the medicine to Flotral D .Is there any side effect to this tablets?.

My PSA level is 0.864 where as it was 0.534 earlier. Blood sugar is 84. Platelets 104 and uric acid is 6.7. I left taking Flotral tablet for the last 7-8 months. Now I again started flotral tab. And side by side I am taking ayurvedic medicine Fortege and Bangshil tab. And Chanderparbha vatti also. I have acute constipation. I have pain upper part of private that is between my nabhi and private part. Please guide me whether surgery is necessary or to remain on medicine? Thanks.

Thanks for your post. My father has been taking Flotral 10 for the last ten years. His age is 80 years. He is taking this for a prostrate problem. But since the last 2 years, he OCCASIONALLY has a problem with the presence of blood in his saliva when he spits. He also suffers from low BP at that time as well. Last year when he had a problem he had gone under many medical evaluations, including endoscopy. But no reason was found. I suspect it may be due to the known side effect of Flotral - causing an upper respiratory infection. What are your views? How can we best proceed? I will appreciate any guidance or reference of a doctor in India.
