Can't this be use for swollen gland under my jaw due to sinus drainage? ## it will help with the pain but not so much for swelling. try alleve or motrin for swelling.and an ice pack ## @Tissue, RE (post #1): Acetaminophen is an anti-inflammatory drug, so I don't see how it wouldn't help with the swelling. If it didn't, that would certainly contradict its drug classification, no? Hydrocodone on the other hand will probably only help with the pain aspect. However if you're (original poster) on the lookout for other anti-inflammatory agents to help ease a swollen lymph node, I would encourage things like herbal tea, ginger, raw coconut oil, and raw honey, along with Turmeric. Certain Essential oils may also prove to be beneficial depending on which one's you work wi...

Pill Size: 18mm Inactive Ingredients: -Hypromelloses -Povidones -Stearic Acid -Castor Oil -Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato ## Found white oblong pills with 44 175 imprinted on one side. They were in a bottle which identified them as Hydrocodone 10/500mg. And described on the bottle as an Oval Blue tablet with Watson on one side and 540 on the other. Is this likely a pharmacy error or is this likely a situation of someone switching out the pills? My daughter who has been treated for Vicodin addiction in the past and lives at home would have had access to this. ## Look mom, we both know the answer to this one....your daughter swtiched the pills. ...

A2Z Allergy Acetaminophen cetirizine ## Hi bonnnie, From what I could find, "Health A2Z" is the name of the manufacturer. Walmart shows that they make extra strength pain relief PM tablets that has 500mgs of Acetaminophen (for pain) + 25mgs of Diphenhydramine HCL (as a sleep aid). They also have what's called 'non-drowsy allergy relief tablets' that reportedly contain 10mgs of Loratidine (an antihistamine). However I have yet to find any specific details on the combination you mentioned that contains Acetaminophen + Cetirizine. Is this something you've taken before?

broke big toe, hurts a lot, what is the best pain medicine to ge ## Hello, Pthomas227! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It is potent and very effective at helping many people with pain. However, it would really be best to let your doctor suggest a medication to try. If you go in asking for a certain medication, most will view that as being drug seeking behavior and won't want to prescribe anything. Did your doctor suggest you try this one?

I has been taking oxycodone 10-325 Everything i take them during the day i vomit them up,but before i go to bed i don't have that probably why? ## Hello, Pella! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. According to the FDA, narcotics can cause nausea and vomiting as side effects, in some people that take them. The reason it's only occurring during the day may be related to your activity levels, or something you're ingesting, such as food or drink. Have you tried taking them with food, rather than on an empty stomach? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There are many, including Oxycodone, that are available without t...

Is it daytime or nighttime ## Hello, Robert! How are you? The FDA lists this medication as containing Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine. The typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. So, there is nothing in this to cause sleepiness that would necessitate its being taken at night, unless that's when your doctor has instructed you to take it. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is bp 643 with 10 in the middle on reverse side as strong as hp 10 660? For pain. ## HI, Jeanne! No, the dosages are different. The tablet with the BP 643 10 on it contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, while the one with the HP 10 660 marking contains 660mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. These are both generics for Vicodin, Lorcet, Norco and others. Since they are narcotic analgesics, they may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Vicodin details here. Another note that needs to be added here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose...

white, tablet, capsule shaped ## This is an over the counter item, it contains Acetaminophen 500mgs, Caffeine 60mgs and Pyrilamine 5mgs, this is a generic for Midol for relief of menstrual symptoms. ## Thank You! Someone mixed them in with my Ibuprofen. To them they were both pain relievers. To me, I cannot take Acetaminophen. I have a bad liver and it will cause me to run fever and have flu symptoms and will further damage my liver. YOU SAVED ME! I thought I might have put some kind of generic Ibuprofen in with my others. They would have made me sick. Thanks again!!

Can any one tell me what this pill is called with Tol370 on the on the front blank in the back ## Hi Chyna, I haven't come across many details to verify this, but based on your description I think what you may have is a generic Excedrin tablet containing Acetaminophen + Caffeine + Aspirin, which is marketed for headache and migraine relief. The only discrepancy I noticed is that this pill reportedly says "TCL 370" as opposed to "ToL 370". Is there a chance the "C" might've been mistaken for an "O"? Please post back if you believe this sounds like a match.

I use this strength often, but I have never seen a white oval shaped one that has U15 on one side. I want to make sure what it is and what strength it is. The manufacturer is Aurobindo. ## Hello, Lula! How are you? According to the manufacturer, the one with the U 15 marking actually contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I'm on T3's and naproxen for my chronic back pain and just found out the implications of the use of alcohol with this medication. I am not an alcoholic, but I do enjoy my beer. I asked my Doctor for a replacement analgesic, but he just canceled my T3's, leaving me only the naproxen, not enough. I'm currently looking for a new Doctor and would appreciate some alternative pain killer suggestions, I'm not allergic to anything, but Im on some anti depresents, buproprion, sertralin, resperidon. ## Your risk is related more to the acetaminophen than the codeine, although your doctor may fear the opiate use more. More people suffered liver failure last year, due to overdoses of acetaminophen than any other single cause, so the risk is real. In any case, 30 mg of codeine is no...

I found a few pills with the number 44/75 on them - what are they ? ## Did you mean to say 44 175 (instead of 44 75) by chance? This is the closest match I could find that fits your description of an oblong white pill. The pill marked 44 175 is Acetaminophen (500 mg). Acetaminophen is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). You can view a detailed description of the drug by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## Yes is it asprin free ?

The FDA lists the most common side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

What's the comparison between extra strength Tylenol at 500 mg and Tylenol 3 ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? Tylenol 3 actually contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 30mgs of Codeine. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, you really can't compare it to regular over the counter Tylenol, that only contains Acetaminophen. Has this been prescribed for you?

White oval pill with the numbers 44324 one one side and blank on the other. What is it? ## Hello, Deb! How are you? While I'm having trouble finding any identification for this particular tablet, I can tell you that it is an over the counter product. All tablets that use a 44 on them, followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products, this company doesn't manufacture any prescription medications. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? If I had to guess, based on the shape, I'd think it was a 500mg Acetaminophen tablet, a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol, but I'm not certain of that. It is commonly used to treat pain and fever, the FDA lists the typical side effects as incl...
