I quit using methamphetamine once my kids got taken. Feb 14 would have been 1 year clean. I have been fighting Dhs this whole time to get my kids back and last Friday they requested a hair test which I felt proud to take however the results came back with a level of 1580 positive for methamphetamine. I am so confused cause I have not used since Feb. Of 2014 can someone please give me some insight if any. They have taken my time with my kids away and threatening to terminate my rights. All my drug screens from march 2014 to present have been all negative and I have taken over 100 of them.

I had ADD, no focus, all-day compulsive overeating, & night heartburn. Now, on 20mg Adderall upon waking, wait 1 hr to eat, then 20mg at 1pm (watch alarm) to get thru day. No other mental/emotional issues, stable life. It wakes up certain part of the brain, foggy/blank before. Used coffee but acid and tolerance buildup were problems. My pulse 60-66, & blood pressure 105/60 ideal, didn't worry about heart problems. Initially my heart raced and leg nerve agitation at night, but current side effects: Vision prescription (nearsighted) worse .25 ea eye, tried Oasis contacts for dryness, but silicon irritated eyes so back to Acuvue 2, wear only 12 hrs. Been taking these generic cor 132 for adhd and they make me feel like crap. Ive got no choice but to try taking them in another form. I dont get new scripts for three weeks. I can't believe I get rolled by the pharmacy company. Now I believe the hype. Lesson learned. ## Hello, Dave! How are you? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood swings, weight loss, nervousness and insomnia. What type of problem are you having with them? How are they making you feel like crap?

My urine levels are 23,000 for adderall , i have hep c could this be why they are high ? ## Hi Denise, The presence of hepatitis C affecting your levels could be one theory, depending on the health of your liver. According scholarspace.jccc.edu, both Adderall XR and IR are metabolized through the liver, and from what I could gather, nih.gov also indicates that hepatitis C can result in liver damage (decreased liver function). So putting two and two together, this leads me to believe that liver simply isn't metabolizing the Adderall as quickly; potentially causing it to accumulate with frequent dosing. However, I'd still be interested to hear feedback from other individuals who may going through something similar. I hope this helps!

I was given this prescription and it is made by actavis inc. I take 30mg and the manufacturer is different and the pill is a orange or peach color and round. It is smaller than the orange or peach pills that I took before. I would like to see a picture to be sure it is what the pharmacy is supposed to give me. ## @Milopoop, Is there an actual imprint on your tablet for identification purposes? The 30mg Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine pill that I'm seeing on the internet is depicted as a round peach pill marked with the number 28 on one side, sitting below a half-moon logo; and on the other side is just a score line. I told my friend that he shouldent open the capsule and take the white and yellow part because its not meant to be taken like that and i told him it would make him hallucinat and it would make him addicted and he doesn't believe me. I have been prescribed adderall 10mgs a day i used to take 60 so 10 doesn't do much of anything to calm my ADHD so i take about 20 to 30 on a daily bases im on probation so i get tested monthly i was wondering if they would know that i take more and if they did would they fail me for it? yes I had taken a drug test for my company over 2 weeks ago and this morning I received a phone call from the testing facility where they actually have the lab and was told by the doctor there that I had tested positive for methamphetamine which I have been confronted with this issue before and always submitted my prescription. there was never any question but now I have been on Vyvanse changed to Concerta and prior to the test the following week I have been sick with the flu and had been on antibiotics, albuterol, and several other different things.

Found a very small white round pill with a M on one side inside a box and the number 5 on the other side. There are no cut lines to halve the pill as it is so very small anyway. Which of the 2 are weaker+ don't work as well+have more side effects? My Dr. Is trying to tell me they are both the exactly the same. I donr feel this is true AT ALL!!! Very upset the pharmacy gave me the 30mg M -Amphat salts instead of the regular Adderal ER 30mg! I've been taking 20 Mg TID of IR generic Adderall > 10 Yrs. Although some "experts" claim they are very, very habit forming, I MUST disagree. Even after +10 Yrs, I have little problem discontinuing the drug at any point. The same goes for benzodiazepines. Possibly it's because I personally adhere or ingest < is directed or skip for weeks on end. This "abuse potential" may be inherent in some. Personally, I believe it is overstating this possibility to "play it safe". The statement, "Drug abusers typically have the tendency to increase the dosage on their own initiative". Decades ago, as many as 20 indications were on the books for sympathomemetic amines. They continue to be used unabated for many reasons as they are so effective when other drugs had little amelioration for the malady. ## Hi Kim, I appreciate you sharing this topic on sympathomimetic amines. And it seems to me that if many of the types of drugs that fall into this category weren't so heavily abused (such as amphetamine, ephedrine, etc) they would eventually be given more light for other more meaningful uses. I found a piece of an orange pill wrapped in a napkin in my neighbors childs coat pocket. I know my neighbor does/sells drugs and my wife is in recovery. Neighbors child left her jacket here so neighbor came to pick it up. Hate to say it but something seemed fishy. Both pockets were snapped shut so I checked and found the piece wrapped in the same kind of napkins we use. Vyvanse gave me my life back! I have nothing bad to say about it. I didn't feel I was depressed, etc......I just had no motivation because I was so tired all the time. I KNEW I was sleeping my life away and was not happy with that. It's been 3 yrs...and i feel vyvance is not working as well as it was. I'm sleeping again. I tried a generic of Adderall in the evening, until that no longer works. Today, the doc gave me fetzima to go with my vyvance. Haven't started it yet.
