Hi Kim,
I appreciate you sharing this topic on sympathomimetic amines. And it seems to me that if many of the types of drugs that fall into this category weren't so heavily abused (such as amphetamine, ephedrine, etc) they would eventually be given more light for other more meaningful uses.
The following link from The US National Library of Medicine is a good example of amphetamines being looked at for treatment resistant depression and how psychostimulants should be considered on a more frequent basis for their potential benefits:

Has anyone here gotten their doctor to prescribe them adderall for depression, on perhaps a short term basis?
