Week long symptoms?

I took plan b one step about a week ago and had such a bad experience! I had nausea the first two days, started spotting the third day, by the fifth day was bleeding VERY heavily and the whole time had the most terrible cramps. It seems like everything that could happen did...I was especially disturbed because I'd taken another ECP one other time about 4 years ago and experienced no side effects. Now, it's been just over a week and the bleeding has stopped as well as the normal menstrual cramps, but they were replaced by pain in my lower abdomen that feels more like dull muscle pain when I push on my lower abdomen, walk or hold my stomach in. It's not severe, but it is definitely noticeable and just one more out of the ordinary thing to worry about. Also, I would have though...

Plan B pregnancy scare

I had a baby 3 months ago and haven't gotten my period back yet. I was intimate on January 1st. I took the morning after pill within a half hour after. A week after, I bled heavy for 4-5 days. I had pregnancy like symptoms. Sore breasts, headaches, and I was more hungry than normal. Now, a month later, I'm still feeling not right. I don't have sore breasts anymore more but I'm more tired then usual, get hunger pains every 5-6 hours and I feel like I'm urinating a little more. Plus I've been feeling pains in my ovaries every so often. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and all negative. I need advice asap! Could Plan B still be making me feel like this? Changing nordette time

I normally take my nordette pill around 7am but want to change it to 8am because at 7am I'm still on my way to work. Will this affect me badly? Will it increase my chances of pregnancy? I was planning on waiting a week before having intercourse when I have started at 8am just so they get used to my system. Please help urgently. ## No, you can do that without a problem. You've got a window of about 12 hours, before it would even be considered a late pill and 24 hours, before it's considered actually missing one. The only thing that might happen is you may experience a little spotting, but that's very doubtful with just a one hour difference and there is no need to abstain for a week, when you do this. Struggling with pregnancy after having implanon removed

Hi - just wondered if anyone else is struggling to get pregnant after having implanon. I have it removed 2 years ago and it took 7 months for me to get a period and when I did the pain made me faint. My periods only now last one day but do come every 28 days... I have been to see my doctor and he was not interested as I already have one child and because of my age 28. I am convinced my hormones are not right? Thanks :) ## You are likely on the right track, both hormonal contraceptives, and your age can contribute to your hormones being off. Sprintec and being on my period

I got on the shot in February and my birthday was the 25th of February. Maybe a day or 2 later I started my period and it lasted for about 4 months and some change. I notified my OB and she put me on hormone pills but my period still continued so she put me on sprintec. I'm on week 3 so I'm still getting use to taking them on time but so far I've only experienced cramping ... My question is , I only want to take the sprintec for one month cause I'm gay so when I get to the white pills and my period starts , will it then go back to my regular periods? Aranelle Contraceptive

I am 15 years old and am on birth control because my period is very heavy. I have used it before for the same reason and never experienced any adverse effects or typical symptoms. I started taking Aranelle 21 days ago; and two days ago I took the last pill which would prevent my period. Yesterday, I felt very ill in the morning and even vomited; today, I'm still not feeling well. Could this be related to my period? Skipping White Pills on Tri-Sprintec

I take Tri-Sprintec and I was wondering if missing the last 2 white pills in the package (for Friday and Saturday made any difference at all and if it's okay for me to just ignore those and begin my next package which starts Sunday? By not taking the last 2 white pills, will my period stop for the last 2 days of my cycle? ## The last week of pills in the Tri-Sprintec 28 day pack are inactive, and can be skipped, however, this will not alter the duration of your period, it should still last as long as it normally does, unless your doctor states otherwise. Femaine is a white pill with a 21 day cycle.
