Aranelle Contraceptive

I am 15 years old and am on birth control because my period is very heavy. I have used it before for the same reason and never experienced any adverse effects or typical symptoms. I started taking Aranelle 21 days ago; and two days ago I took the last pill which would prevent my period. Yesterday, I felt very ill in the morning and even vomited; today, I'm still not feeling well. Could this be related to my period? I haven't been taking the pills that are usually ingested during a period. Could this make a difference?

The last 7 tablets are inactive, they are just in the package to help keep you in the habit of taking a daily pill, this helps prevent missing any and risking pregnancy.

Oral contraceptives can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and irregular vaginal bleeding, as side effects.

Ref: Oral Contraceptive Information

However, if this continues, you should consult your doctor, as you might need to try a different oral contraceptive.

Are you on any other medications? Have you been taking it with food, rather than on an empty stomach?
