i found under my fridge a yellow round small pill with 40 on one side in dark letering, any idea what it is? ## Is there any chance that there's a marking "OC" on the other side of the pill? The closest match I'm finding is a round yellow pill imprinted with 40 on one side and OC on the other; identified as OxyContin (40mgs). Have a yellow oval pill one side V, other side 10/95 ## "V 10 95" doesn't seem to exist in my own investigation. "V 36 01" appears to be the closest known representation, for if you accidentally hold it upside down on the back the numbers read out very similar to 10 95. Depending on its overall condition, the backwards 3 may resemble a 5. Never the less, we can at least determine that the manufacturer is probably Qualitest (Vintage) Pharmaceuticals since they're the only company with a "V" and two other sets of numbers depicted in such a way. Did you get this filled at a local pharmacy?

I haven't been able to definitively confirm it, but I found one listing that states that this is a 1200mg Magnesium tablet, which is used as a laxative. But that is really just a guess, I am not finding a listing for this anywhere and if it is something thats available over the counter as a supplement, then that would explain it, since they aren't required to log those imprints with the FDA. I have some pills they are football shaped and are light beige they say 40 in black on one side but have no other markings. The pill is Triamterene (37.5 mg) + Hydrochlorothiazide (25 mg). It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and edema (water retention).
