small white round pill with 44 and 397 underneath ## found this pill that needs identified please ## Small round (5/16 inch diameter) light pink pill with number 44397 on it. No score on back side. Needs identification. Was told it is "baby aspirin". I have reason to believe it is not. ## The baby Aspirin listed with this marking is most commonly sold at Rite Aid, and they list it as being pink. It contains 81mgs of Aspirin, which is used by many people for blood thinning, and heart health. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. I do not, however, have any information on a white one. Can the original poster please double check the imprint and post back?

I recieved a white rectangle pill with R039 written on it when I got my refill.. its an actual R not the P and i dont think it had a ribbon effect neither im sure its R, i cant find it anywhere and im hearing different opinions saying its fake and its real. Ok, one side looks 239, other side it looks like..I just can't see the imprint, there probably was one ## The only tablet I can find that matches this description is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals. It has IG on one side and 239 on the other, they list it as containing 10mgs of Amlodipine. The FDA closes this medication as a calcium channel blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. My xanax is not yellow! ## I would throw them out as they must be fake, right? ## @Joannf54, Did you get your Xanax prescription filled at a legitimate pharmacy? If so, there shouldn't be any issues unless the pharmacy made a mistake or changed the manufacturer without informing you. The color of a medication doesn't usually have anything to do with its formulation since different manufacturers design their pills differently. Is everything else normal other than the color? ( ie: shape, size, imprint etc..) If you ordered the Xanax online, then there is definitely a possibility of the pills being "fake" or unsafe. If this is your pill it's Amlodipine Besylate 10 mg. Amlodipine is a long-acting calcium channel blocker (dihydropyridine class) used as an anti-hypertensive and in the treatment of angina. Like other calcium channel blockers, amlodipine acts by relaxing the smooth muscle in the arterial wall, decreasing total peripheral resistance and hence reducing blood pressure; in angina it increases blood flow to the heart muscle. pill identification - found 3 pills,( in daughter's things) round, white, with just a capital N stamped on one side, other side nothing wondering what it could be?? ## Sorry, I cannot be certain of what it is with just the N marking, there are several prescription and over the counter drugs from the US and Canada with that marking.

Tablets marked with a 44 followed by three additional numbers are over the counter products manufactured by LNK International, they don't make any prescription products. They are sold in various stores throughout the U.S. as generics and store brands. However, I've not been able to find a listing for what this tablet contains, but I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?
