I found half of a pill ending with 57 and is blank on the other side. It's large white and oblong. ## Knowing only part of the imprint leaves it open to several possibilities. Just to give some examples, there's a 5mg Buspirone tablet that meets this description with the marking 657. There's a generic Vicodin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone with the marking M357. There's a Sulfadiazine tablet with the marking E757. And that is just some of the tablets that are listed that incorporate the 57 into the end of the imprint. Where was it found?

We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. Can anyone help verify if this is the correct medicine? ## @BamBam, A white oblong pill imprinted with I 71 is reportedly identified as Bupropion HCL extended-release (300 mg), which is an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 69097-0876. I'm not sure why the pharmacist would say that this is Percocet, as surely they are mistaken based on the pill description. I would contact them right away if you haven't done so already... Thought they quiet making 650 anything? ## They did as of the first of 2014, but that doesn't mean they can instantly pull all of them off the market, out of people's cupboards and etc. Pharmacies can also still dispense any supply that they still had. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Was found in a hydrocodone bottle ## If it is stamped Watson 358 or m358 its a Lortab; which Lortab is the brand name of Hydrocodone. ## The tablet with the Z71 marking is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and contains 500mgs of Metformin, which is used to help lower and control blood sugar in diabetics. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, flatulence, hypoglycemia, and diarrhea. (NDC 68382-0760) Payton, Lortab is the name brand for it. (NDC 16590-636, just one example.) However, it should be noted that it no longer contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, due to FDA action, combined medications cannot contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose.
