When Should Urbanol Be Taken Night Or Day

I went to see my Doctor (GP) yesterday because i have been suffering from Seizure type episodes. I find i have these episodes when i am very stressed and very tired. Has happened during the day and at night time. I have read up on Urr=banol, he has prescribed Urbanol 5mg Twice a day for a month and then i will be re-evaluated, i have noted it can be used for Anxiety as well as for seizures so i am unsure why he has prescribed this to me, my doctor is as old as the hills and i really dont have the patience to try and get the info out of him. What could be the reason i have been prescribed Urbanol? Seizures or the stress/anxiety? ## Perhaps he prescribed it for both. I can't answer for your doctor, of course, but it would make sense. Hi there i took a stilpane and a 10 mg urbanol..now i am scared to take my tribuss arv treatment. I was in pain from a spider bite and anxious because is taking so long to heal. I am taking antibiotics for it. Just scared to take too many central nervous system depressant all at once! Maybe should skip arv for tonight? Probably will do so. ## Gretings. I used to take Atatax for itching and as a light sedative/antihistamine (1 tablet per night). Now Pfizer are no longer manufacturing this drug. my Dr has now prescribed Urbanol 10mg and I am afraid of taking this medication as i have read that it is the same as Zolpidem, Zolpihexal and these are for Insomnia and I dont suffer from Insomnia only the itching. I have been taking Urbanol 10mg and Allergex (not sure of the mg) one tablet of each medication twise a day. I often feel like i am just going to drift off to sleep and have done so a few times whilst at work. I told my Doctor that i have trouble sleeping and i have anxiety depression as well as Major Depression and i asked for sleeping pills but she said that urbanol can be used to calm my nerves and then make me fall asleep , is this true because i have been awake for about 68 hours now and i drank my pills every night before i go to bed , so can it be used as a sleeping pill ?? ## Hello, Kobus! Hi there, I was on tripelene for a couple of years then went off it trying to seek a natural way to help with my anxiety and to sleep. But the natural meds never helped then my Dr prescribed 10x xanor which helped then he gave me another 10 x xanor and when I asked for more he said I can not use it for a long period, so he prescribed urbanol, well I can't sleep. Can I take Trepiline with Urbanol? Will it keep me awake or will I be able to sleep? I don't take Trepiline. I use to for neck spasms, but it stopped and after a long time it's back. Can I combine 1 Trepiline and 1 Urbanol? I just don't want it to clash, then I cant sleep. My husband has been prescribed Urbanol 10mg at 7am and 2pm; also Venlafaxine Unicorn XR 75 (for depression), but he says that he has a dry mouth and he lays awake most of the night now. Being a singer, he says this is not working for him. Is there anything else that he can take?

I started on 5mgs of Brintellix in February. All my anxiety was gone after the first few days but my depression remained bad. I gradually brought my dose up to 20mg 6 weeks ago and yesterday my depression was almost gone. I also have roller-coaster downs on this tab. Hopefully it's kicked in. The only thing is I can't sleep. I take Zolpidem 10mg at 12am and Urbanol 10mg when I wake up at 3:30am. My sleep is restless as I look after my mom and dad in their 80's. My mom has silent stroke dementia, so my day is very stressful. I'm in a bad mood which is not normal for me but think it's stress from caring for my folks. I have been prescribed Eplepton for extremely restless legs which cause insomnia. In addition my thyroid has gone from being underactive to overactive so therefore my meds were reduced. I also over a period weaned myself off one tramacet and one celebrex which I took every night for approximately three years for neck pain. I discontinued taking these two tablets as I was extremely sleepy during the day. I have been taking Zartan 50 for a few months for high blood pressure. I have also been taking half a Serrapress 20 in the morning for anxiety. I then had a spate of very high blood pressure at 170/115. My dr prescribed half an Urbanol in the morning and half at night. My blood pressure is now as low as 125/66. I stopped the Urbanol two days ago but my blood pressure is still low. Should I still be taking Zartan?

I'm diagnosed as having Bipolar 2. I take Lamictin 25 - 1x tablet twice a day, Trepiline - 2x tablet @night, Dopaquel - 1x @night, Escitalopram - 1.5 in the morning, Urbanol - 2x tablets a day. I'm trying to loose about 5kg. I'm watching my eating habits & I use my Orbitrack 3x a day for 30 minutes. I have not lost 1kg in 2weeks. Does that make sense? I used to be on 600 mg of Epilum in the mornings as well as at night. I gained a lot of weight and started to complain about this so the doctor prescribe 50 mg of Topomax in the morning as well as at night. I was also drinking Urbanol 10 mg morning and at night. I went to a new Neurologist that advised me to take Epitec 25 mg and wean down on the Epilum. At the moment I drink 200 mg of Epilum in the morning and in the night. I also lost more than 10 kg of weight. Every 2 weeks I increase my Epitec dosage and are currently taking 100 mg at night and 100 mg in the morning.
