I have started this pill after taking another pill earlier. I began on a Sunday, the first day of my period and took the pill marked for Sunday. Now, I know we should follow the arrows, but since some pills were there marked for swallowing before the day (Sunday), I wonder if we should take them after finishing the arrow route? I am confused and need urgent help please. The first pill marked was for Monday. So I think there are many before my first pill. Do I finish from Sunday until the end of the arrow and then start a new pack after that? I have been taking 1,500mg of MSM in the morning and 1,500mg in the afternoon for the past two weeks. I was wondering if I could take 3,000 or 4,000mg in the morning and the same in the afternoon. I am taking it for psoriasis. It has helped some with joint pain, but not at all for my skin. Has anyone bumped the dosage up to 6,000mg or 8,000mg in divided dosage daily? ## MSM is actually just a nutritional supplement and I have never heard of it actually helping with any type of skin issues, though it is naturally present in joints and supplementing it can help with such problems, for some people. That said, the general maximum recommended daily amount is 4.000mgs in equal divided daily doses. Have you consulted your doctor about how much you should use?

about 2 weeks ago(17 days ago),my doctor upped me from 50 mg to 100 mg. But, it really doesn't cause a high or anything in most people that take it. It should have an effect similar to sedation. When prescribed most common drugs you either are given one tablet 3 times a day or one tablet 4 times a day to take . I am taking 7.5 mg of mobic once a day and my dr. increased the dosage to 15mg. once a day. Wouldn't it be better to take 1 7.5mg in the a.m. and another 7.5mg in the early evening ? ## My question is the same as Jan's. Can I take 7.5 mg bid for better relief and coverage. I had a total thyroidectomy a little over a year ago followed by radioactive iodine just to be sure it was all dead and gone. Before my thyroid cancer I was in pretty good shape as I am a college athlete. Since the surgery I have gained 20 to 30 pounds. People said once I got my tsh levels right I would lose the weight but I only stopped gaining, not losing.
