Does this means 4 tablets a day ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? Yes, going by the FDA prescription writing standards, that would mean 2 tablets taken twice daily for a total of 4. I've been prescribed naproxen tablets that says on bottle,Take ONE tablet -TWO TWICE daily. Am I taking two daily( one morning and night) or four daily as in two in the morning and two in the afternoon? ## Take one in the morning and one at night. ## Have you double checked with your pharmacist, or doctor? That wording is a bit hard to understand, it could mean to take one tablet twice daily, or that you could take one to two tablets twice daily. The FDA warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Ref: Naproxen Information Are you on any other medications?

I'm experiencing dizziness and want to know if it's safe to chew two tablets of bonine for relief? ## You should not exceed the dosing recommended on the packaging, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including drowsiness, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? Are you on any other medications?

What is the meaning of "take 4 capsules per day"? (i.e. How far apart is the dosing schedule?) ## Generally, that would be every 6 hours, but it can depend on the specific medication being asked about. Can you post back with more details? In some cases, it may mean that you can take all 4, at once, it may mean two doses of two capsules, or even taking up to four a day but not always four if not necessary. For instance, I take a medication for nerve pain, and it is prescribed to be taken up to a certain number of times a day, but that doesn't mean it has to be taken so many hours apart, I can take them all at once at night, or take several throughout the day.

I just took a 10mg percocet at about 8am. I'm out of them now, but I have two 5mg oxycodone k|18 pills. Can I take 2 of those to equal one 10mg??? ## It won't be exactly equal, since the K18 tablets only contain Oxycodone, but lack the Acetaminophen that is in Percocet, but you can do so, if your doctor approves.
