Hey has anyone had under eye and cheek swelling? I have had derma fillers placed in my tear troughs and cheeks over a year ago and my earlobes repaired and filled with derma filler 2 years ago. My GI Dr insists it’s the derma filler. I went back to the dermo who injected the fillers over a year ago and he said it’s not from the fillers, there is nothing left but injected the dissolving enzyme just to be sure. I have had 8 full under eye and cheeks flares in the last 3 months. It always comes on 3 days after my Humira dose and remains for 2 or 3 days before going away completely. Then slight swelling under each eye and even one ear between the bi-monthly dose. I have been on Humira for one year and 3 months. This all started right at the Humira 1 year mark. Also my vision is ...

Has anyone had any problem with face swelling with this drug? ## My husband has been taking prilosec for years and he always wakes up with a swollen face. I thought it was because he does not get enough sleep at night or any other time. Does your swelling go away after you have been up for awhile or does it continue into the afternoon? ## If you are experiencing unexplained facial swelling, then it is very important to consult your doctor, as that could be the sign of an allergic reaction to the medication, or something else in your environment. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Prilosec as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, gas, and constipation. I'm a 32 year old female. I have taken omnacortil 10 mg 4 times and began to experience swelling on my face and body. When will this puffiness go away? ## That can be a normal side effect of taking a steroid class medication, along with nausea, dizziness, insomnia, and acne. It could take a few weeks, or up to a month, for things to start to improve, after finishing your course of treatment. Are you on any other medications?

I just started Humira in the last 2 weeks and I feel like my allergies are going nuts. My whole body is swelling. After reading some of your side effects this is somewhat normal. Does the swelling of legs, face, etc. go away? I went to the general practitioner to get something for my allergies. She seems to think its my body reacting to the Humira. ## Hello, Mic! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. That could be the sign of an allergic reaction to it. It should go away, in a few weeks, however, it most likely means that you shouldn't continue with Humira, as such reactions tend to worsen with repeated exposure. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include dizziness, joint aches, headache, confusion and arthritis. Is there anything else ...

I started lexapro for anxiety and hot flashes. Was given 20mg but only took 10mg to start. I took this for 3 days. It did help with the anxiety and no hot flashes. HURRAH! However by the 4th day, I broke out in an itchy red rash and welts over my entire body including my scalp and face. I stopped the Lexapro immediately. By the fifth day, my face and hands were very swollen. It took 4 days for the rash to go away and the swelling so I thought I was out of the woods. Since then, I feel like I have a heavy chest, something stuck in my throat, dizziness, foggy and heavy head and pressure in my ears. I was wondering whether these are actually withdrawal symptoms even tho I had only been on Lexapro for 3 days. Anyone else have these reactions????? ## Hello, Taz! How are you feeling? Have you...

I've been on Linzess for constipation for two weeks. While it has only produced one bowel movement during this time, I was still hopeful. However, I woke up on a Wednesday with a swollen face and a bump in my eyebrow. I thought I had gotten bitten by something and didn't attribute it to the Linzess. Took Benadryl but didn't get any relief. I woke up with my eyes swollen almost shut on both Thursday and Friday morning and the bump in my eyebrow began to itch. By Saturday morning when I awoke to a swollen face and eyes again, I knew it was the Linzess. I am bummed since I was so hopeful that the Linzess would help me with my constipation. ## Oh wow! I am so very sorry about what happened. Did you consult your doctor? Has swelling gone away, yet? It is always possible to find o...
