After I feel scared or fear of some one or something then I become panic. I can't control my mind what's right to do and what not.when I start to do something I can't stop myself. I become monotonous. And after I did checked up the doctor told me that I was suffering from epilepsy and now I am taking a tablet valparin 200 mg. ## And today's I have a que that is this happen to all of the guys suffering from epilepsy??? I have been on depakote for epilepsy since about 2004. For the past 3 years I was taking 250mg everyday and sometimes every other day. I recently did an EEG and it came out normal. I started weaning of the meds to just every 5 days and recently every week. I notice on about the 6th or 7th day I feel light headed, anxiety, a bit dizziness that comes and goes. I also get sensitive to sounds. I will take 250 mg when I feel that and the symptoms go away. Haven't had a seizure since 2009. What's the best way to begin weaning off vimpat? Taking 50 mg once a day and it is kicking my ass to take half a pill every day so I go back on the medication. Currently on 60 mg's of methadone. Just diagnosed with epilepsy. 60 mg was just fine prior to the new meds. Then I started the worst withdrawal symptoms. The dr. says that some people just take a while to get use to the new medication. The biggest and worst being Dilantin (300mg) morning and (300mg) at night. After 3 days of hell I paid for my own peak and trough. The trough was less than 20ng/ml. 4 hours the peak came in at less than 20ng/ml again. The doctors were absolutely baffled. They really only said all I can do is up my methadone which would defeat everything I have worked for. I have just developed epilepsy and am in my 40's. I have been put on lemectol and have been taking a theraputic dose for several months. Originally I had headaches but they seem to have gone away. Right now I am having symptoms that i believe to be side effects. I am experiencing loss of balance or unsteadiness, a sort of dizziness, terrible hot flashes or night sweats sometimes 4-5 times a night. Right now as I right this I am loosing my balance at my computor. I am also having a hot flash at this minute. This has all occurred in the last week despite being on it for months. What can you tell me about Degranol side effects? I have been on these tablets for 18 months now using 600mg a day. I have gained a lot of weight. I sufferer from major depression. I do not have epilepsy or other symptoms related to epilepsy. I find lately that my mouth gets dry and I seem to get a sore throat but it feels as if I'm getting tonsillitis on the right side of my throat. i have been prescribed butalb-apap-caff 50-325-40 tab as part of an epilepsy seizure treatment. directions are take one tablet every 4 hrs as needed for pain but not more than 3 days in a row. can anyone explain the reason for taking not more than 3 days in a row? ## I can't speak for your doctor and their specific reasoning for it, but there are usually several reasons that these instructions may be included and I can inform you what some of those are. I've been on suboxone for 13 years. I have begged my Dr. to seen me off with. no luck. I changed to a different Dr. and he is helping me seen. thank God. I've weened alittle quicker than he cared for. In the 13 years, everytime I've tried to seen down I experience siezure like symptoms acure. its scary and I'm curious if this is normal or just me.
