100+ Topics Foundjust received a script for cephalexin from teva and it stinks a lot ## Hello, Cat! How are you? Yes, antibiotics usually do, but it is nothing to worry about. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
During my urination,I notice that my urine is pale in colour and its smells bad, sometimes i feel like vomiting when i smell it. I just want to know, what cause this, and what antiobiotics can be taken to avoid dis? ## You need to go see a doctor. I am a female and immediately know when I have a kidney infection because my urine has the nastiest smell and it's also extremely foggy. If this is the case for you go see a doctor now, I can only take cipro for my kidney infections because of my allergy to sulfa drugs. Go to an urgent care if you have to, a kidney infection is no joke

Kind of a pundgent odor ## It's Oxycodone hydrochloride 30 mg, which comes in various forms and is in a class of medicines called Narcotic Analgesics (other different, but well-known brands in this class are Codeine and Vicodin); This drug is used to treat pain (moderate to severe levels). I found a white oblong pill with the code 94-390 imprinted on it, (it smells like a gerital vitamin pill). ## I was not able to locate any pill with this description. If you feel concerned I would take your pill to a local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. If anyone has any idea what this pill is, please post back with any information.
Thick round, light yellow pill. Only marks are: P73 ## From what I've sen from other replies about this same pill is that this is a low dose (81 mg) aspirin. ## Small white pill with P73 printed on one side. ## I have read that this is a low dose asprin but there is an odor to the bottle I found and it has no label on it. it smells like vinegar. ## CVS Pharmacy does list this tablet as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, which is the dosage many people use for heart health, and blood thinning. NDC code: 50428-2302 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Curious, many medications can have an odd odor, that is not unusual. Was the bottle marked as containing Aspirin, or something else?
The pills I have are white, round, non-scored; blank on one side and the only identifiable imprinting is a cursive uppercase letter "R" with a typewriter style, upper case letter "L" going under or through the cursive uppercase letter "R". I have absolutely no idea whether these are pills or breath mints, but they smell sort of like vinegar!
I found a small brown/tan pill with no markings, chalky texture with a sweet smell in an unlabeled brown bottle with a yellow lid. Appears to have been compacted as some pills have an edge where some do not. Tiny, maybe the size of a ## Hello, Angie! How are you? With no markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription tablet, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. Unfortunately, that leaves it open to quite a few over the counter possibilities. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?
it has no letters or markings on it at all It looks a little like a mulitvitamin tablet, but doesn't have the same smell or taste ## This is a simple multivitamin. I think its just a generic brand you can get pretty much anywhere, but it is just a multivitamin. ## I agree that it could be a multivitamin, however, there is also the possibility that it could be some other type of supplement. For instance, iron tablets are also made that look like this and if it is, it could be very dangerous for some people to think it is just a multi-vitamin, as for some people, too much iron can be just as dangerous as too little is for others.
I have a bottle of penicillin 500 mg that expires 3/16/2016 that i left in my car for months. I went to use it and it had a funny odor when i opened the bottle..... and when i take them I can smell the odor thru my nose. Have the pills went bad..? ## Hello, Kash! How are you? Pills don't usually tend to go bad, so to speak, they lose effectiveness. And actually, Penicillin does normally have an odor, which can be quite awful. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, if they have lost effectiveness, if can create the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, so it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with?
A FRIEND SHOWED ME THE PILL. IT AS A LARGE WHITE ROUND PILL. IT HAS A LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE ON ONE SIDE. THAT IS THE ONLY THING ON IT. IT SMELLS LIKE A VITAMIN. I HAVE TRIED LOOKING IT UP BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON IT. ## Hello, Maddison! How are you? There's a very good chance that it is a vitamin, since it has no markings. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification. The only tablets without markings would have to be over the counter products. That said, there are many possibilities for what it might contain, but if it smells like a vitamin, then that's as good of a guess as any. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have these pain medicine and when I opened my bottle the have the strongest smell to them. They are 10/300 hp vicoden has this ever happened to anyone? ## Hello, Denise! How are you? Most medications tend to have an odor, some manufacturers just coat their pills to prevent you smelling it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What are the markings on them? That will enable me to double check the details on them for you.
I had been prescribed Lyrica for post herpetic neuropathy following a bout of shingles. Shortly there after I started having imaginary smells and then lost my sense of smell completely. I was informed that I have a condition called anosmia. My doctor recently informed me that there have only been 17 other cases reported relating a connection between Lyrica and loss of smell. Has anyone else had a similar experience? ## It hasn't been mentioned on our site previously, but it is a very, very rare effect that can happen with some medications, including Lyrica. You can learn more about the condition here: It is, sometimes, reversible if the medication causing it is stopped. Has your doctor suggested your trying something else? ## I took Lyrica for about 6 months......significantly relie...
my friend found on the street a white heart-shaped pill with the letter S carved only on one face. Is it a kind of elicit drug or the newest type of Levitra? ## It's a German pill, it has the shape of a heart, it's bigger than the "Smints", it has a big S impressed on one side, it smells like mint, the packet is dark blue or black, the name is very long, it contains the words "kuesse", "nacht", "mond", "Suessenacht", "honig" or something like that.
White pill with LI90 labeled on it, we are trying to figure out what type of pill this is. It was cut up into little tiny pieces in the pocket of my grandfather's pants. They smelled a little minty but we know that they are not mints. ## The reason it smelled minty is because it's actually a Nicotine lozenge, used for smoking cessation. It is a generic or store brand and that also explains the mint smell, because they are mint flavored. Are there any comments or questions?
I found a thick, oval, light blue pill, with no markings except four raised ridges on one side, these ridges are almost diamond shape.it is a medium size pill. Do you know what this pill is? ## Hello, Chubbs! How are you? If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, since all manufactured tablets are required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, the leaves it open to a lo of over the counter possibilities. I'm not familiar with any that look like this, but I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I found the same kind of pill as described, and to me it smelled like a breath mint...sort of a toothpaste smell. My co-worker decided to try it. It's was a br...
Have been on chronic meds for 25 years and never had this happen. They changed my generic Watson to Actavis A333. I didn't notice till I got home. At first I thought they were the wrong pill as I felt NOTHING. Then became nauseous and gaseous. Called Walgren's ...."Sorry we did notice you were on another generic and we can't do anything". Then they started playing the "abuse" card. Now I have called Actativs pharmacy and they admitted they had been bombarded with people who were "have an issue" with the pill. I am unable to sleep. I writhe in pain. I can not drive due to the lack of sleep. I advise everyone to notate every side effect and setback this "generic abuse" test we have been FORCED to take is having on our body. I smell a legal suit....
I have been on By Mycin for 5 days and have finished my prescription. I found that my body developed a slight smell while on the drug. Is this a side effect of By Mycin and if so how long will the smell last. Thanking you, Rosemary Traynor ## Hello Rosemary, I can't find any reputable sources stating body odor as a side effect of By-Mycin, which contains the main ingredient Doxycyline. However, that doesn't mean it isn't a side effect since everyone has different body chemistry and can therefore react differently to medications. My only guess is that it could possibly be a yeast infection, as those are quite common after taking antibiotics and can cause an unpleasant odor. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Doxycycline Details I hope this helps in some way! #...
Seven weeks ago I had spine surgery, having to have fusions with metal screw, rods and a cage. I first had a urine leakage for about 3 weeks. Now I have a horrible smell in my urine, my bladder doesn't seem to be emptying completely. I did not have this problem prior to surgery..my surgeon said I needed to see a urologist, which I have. he is wanting to admit me to hospital for examinations on my bladder and kidneys. I haven't been released from my surgeon yet and another stay?? What concerns me is the fact that I did not have this problem until I had back surgery. ## Hello, Rbyrd! How are you doing? Have things improved, any? Such issues can occur due to surgery, there's no way to product who will or will not experience them. Have you consulted the urologist, yet? That woul...
pill in package that was from a multi pack.Pro- 20mg.printed on package pill has a sweet smell. could it be a generic cialis? ## Hello, Karl! How are you? Unfortunately, the only way to be certain what this tablet contains would be to pay to have it lab tested. Without any markings, it is really a guessing game otherwise. Where was it obtained? Is anyone familiar with this product?
Can I use fragile pill as morning after pill? And how do I take them? ## What can I use for dark smelly urine ## I had a miscarriage on Saturday last week. So l am bleeding up to now. I wanted to ask if i take the fragile pills will the bleeding stop and will it clean my womb? ## Hey I had unprotected intercourse on sep 17th this month and I bought fragile. (There were 5 inside) I took them all at the same time. Now I'm not sure if they work. Please tell me what to do? ## Were fragile pills helpful in ur situation. I'm also in the same situation but I haven't bought the pills. ## Based on the general consensus within this discussion I couldn't help but wonder if anyone here had meant to say Flagyl instead of "fragile"? Flagyl (Metronidazole) is an antibiotic used...
