During my urination,I notice that my urine is pale in colour and its smells bad,sometimes i feel like vomiting when i smell it. I am a female and immediately know when I have a kidney infection because my urine has the nastiest smell and it's also extremely foggy. If this is the case for you go see a doctor now, I can only take cipro for my kidney infections because of my allergy to sulfa drugs. Go to an urgent care if you have to, a kidney infection is no joke

When I opened the pill bottle it had a funny smell to it. Any idea as to what this is. I found a white oblong pill with the code 94-390 imprinted on it, (it smells like a gerital vitamin pill). ## I was not able to locate any pill with this description. If you feel concerned I would take your pill to a local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. If anyone has any idea what this pill is, please post back with any information.

Thick round, light yellow pill. Only marks are: P73 ## From what I've sen from other replies about this same pill is that this is a low dose (81 mg) aspirin. ## Small white pill with P73 printed on one side. ## I have read that this is a low dose asprin but there is an odor to the bottle I found and it has no label on it. it smells like vinegar. ## CVS Pharmacy does list this tablet as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, which is the dosage many people use for heart health, and blood thinning. NDC code: 50428-2302 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Curious, many medications can have an odd odor, that is not unusual. Was the bottle marked as containing Aspirin, or something else?

The pills I have are white, round, non-scored; blank on one side and the only identifiable imprinting is a cursive uppercase letter "R" with a typewriter style, upper case letter "L" going under or through the cursive uppercase letter "R". I have absolutely no idea whether these are pills or breath mints, but they smell sort of like vinegar!

With no markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription tablet, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. it has no letters or markings on it at all It looks a little like a mulitvitamin tablet, but doesn't have the same smell or taste ## This is a simple multivitamin. I think its just a generic brand you can get pretty much anywhere, but it is just a multivitamin. ## I agree that it could be a multivitamin, however, there is also the possibility that it could be some other type of supplement. For instance, iron tablets are also made that look like this and if it is, it could be very dangerous for some people to think it is just a multi-vitamin, as for some people, too much iron can be just as dangerous as too little is for others.

I have a bottle of penicillin 500 mg that expires 3/16/2016 that i left in my car for months. I went to use it and it had a funny odor when i opened the bottle..... and when i take them I can smell the odor thru my nose. Have the pills went bad..? ## Hello, Kash! How are you? Pills don't usually tend to go bad, so to speak, they lose effectiveness. And actually, Penicillin does normally have an odor, which can be quite awful. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, if they have lost effectiveness, if can create the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, so it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification. The only tablets without markings would have to be over the counter products. That said, there are many possibilities for what it might contain, but if it smells like a vitamin, then that's as good of a guess as any. Is there anything else I can help with?

I had been prescribed Lyrica for post herpetic neuropathy following a bout of shingles. Shortly there after I started having imaginary smells and then lost my sense of smell completely. White pill with LI90 labeled on it, we are trying to figure out what type of pill this is. It was cut up into little tiny pieces in the pocket of my grandfather's pants. They smelled a little minty but we know that they are not mints. ## The reason it smelled minty is because it's actually a Nicotine lozenge, used for smoking cessation. Have been on chronic meds for 25 years and never had this happen. They changed my generic Watson to Actavis A333. I didn't notice till I got home. At first I thought they were the wrong pill as I felt NOTHING. Then became nauseous and gaseous. Called Walgren's ...."Sorry we did notice you were on another generic and we can't do anything". Then they started playing the "abuse" card. Now I have called Actativs pharmacy and they admitted they had been bombarded with people who were "have an issue" with the pill. I am unable to sleep. I writhe in pain. I can not drive due to the lack of sleep. I advise everyone to notate every side effect and setback this "generic abuse" test we have been FORCED to take is having on our body. I have been on By Mycin for 5 days and have finished my prescription. I found that my body developed a slight smell while on the drug. Is this a side effect of By Mycin and if so how long will the smell last. Thanking you, Rosemary Traynor ## Hello Rosemary, I can't find any reputable sources stating body odor as a side effect of By-Mycin, which contains the main ingredient Doxycyline. However, that doesn't mean it isn't a side effect since everyone has different body chemistry and can therefore react differently to medications. My only guess is that it could possibly be a yeast infection, as those are quite common after taking antibiotics and can cause an unpleasant odor. Seven weeks ago I had spine surgery, having to have fusions with metal screw, rods and a cage. I first had a urine leakage for about 3 weeks. Now I have a horrible smell in my urine, my bladder doesn't seem to be emptying completely. I did not have this problem prior to surgery..my surgeon said I needed to see a urologist, which I have. he is wanting to admit me to hospital for examinations on my bladder and kidneys.
