Trying to identify a small oval yellow pill that says APO one said and P40 on the other ## I also have an oval yellow pill, apo on one side p40 on other side. ## The pharmaceutical name for this drug is APO or RAN - PANTOPRAZOLE. It comes in either 40 or 20 mg and that is what the 40 stands for on the pill. This drug is mainly used to treat stomach ulcers, intestinal ulcers or gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD). I was able to reach this conclusion after someone else identified their round pink "ON 20" pill as Canadian OxyNEO (20mg). The "ON" was also underlined on theirs as well.
