I have started taking Newcita Plus to treat my depression. I am on the 10mg tablets and can't sleep at night. Is this normal? ## How long have you been taking it? In the initial stages, before your body adjusts to the medication, medications in this class can cause disruption to your sleep, due to the fact that they can delay the onset of the REM stage of sleep, according to the NIH. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and weight changes. It should improve after about 4 to 5 weeks of taking it, once your body adjusts.

## my daughter is supposed to get 7.5ml of this and I accidentally gave it to her twice within 2hours. Is this bad? ## I have been on this medication and ever since I have been on this drug I have had a lot of trouble sleeping and even when I do sleep I have really weird dreams. Has anyone else experienced this? ## I've been on trimethoprim for about 4 days days and i've been having similar effects as Kathleen. every time i sleep (if i sleep) i'm having very odd dreams. i realised this morning it must be the drug affecting my dreams. ## I have been on sulfamethoxazole with trimethoprim now for almost three weeks. The first week was fine, but in the last two weeks I have slept no more than two hours a night. And it's not two hours of constant sleep, it's like a bunch ...

I have been on Cymbalta for a couple of weeks. I don't have any problems falling asleep.Every once in a while I use to fight in my sleep or have nightmares, but maybe once every couple of months if that. But now since I've been taking the Cymbalta it's like every night I'm fighting and or talking in my sleep. Have you heard of anything like this? Thank you for your time. ## Hello, Shonda! How are you? Virtually all medications like this that act on brain chemicals cause disruptions to the sleep cycle, usually by REM onset latency, you spend less time in the REM stage and it is much more vivid, while you are in it. Have you consulted your doctor? It just might not be the right medication for you to take.

white round pill with AR 627 printed on one side ## I believe the marking may have actually been AN 627 and the tablet contains 50mgs of Tramadol which is a centrally acting analgesic. It isn't generally used to help with sleep related problems, but it can cause some drowsiness as a side effects, along with nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. It also has the potential to be habit forming. Learn more Tramadol details here. Are there any questions or comments?

IS TEVA 74 MADE OF THE SAME COMPOUND AS AMBIEN, OR DOES IT HAVE SLIGHT VARIATION..?? ## The pill in description is Zolpidem (10 mg), which is actually the generic for Ambien; however Generic Zolpidem is approved for the short-term (usually about two to six weeks) treatment of insomnia while Ambien CR is approved for long-term use….so I am assuming it may not be exactly one in the same (having a slight variation as you mentioned). NOTE: Zolpidem has not proven effective in maintaining sleep and is more used for sleep initiation problems. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.

My little brother was prescribed 25 mg Hydroxcine for his sleeping disorder and I am trying to find out if there is something better to give him since the doctor is using that pills side affect to help him sleep, he has a disorder that he can't ever fall asleep on his own, he needs something to help him. ## In reality, since it's an antihistamine that can cause drowsiness as a side effect, it is likely safer than many of the other choices. Most are in the sedative/hypnotic class and tend to be habit forming and addictive. Learn more Hydroxyzine details here. Is this medication working for him? Is he having problems with it?

I've been on bondormin sleeping pills for a few years now and I'm having concentration problems and memory loss.Is this irreversible damage or just side effects which will vanish if I stop taking them??? ## Hi, Aline! Bondormin contains the active ingredient Brotizolam, which is a sedative hypnotic that's an analog of a benzodiazepine and those types of side effects are known to occur in some people that take these medications. Usually, they do go away once the medication is discontinued, but it may take awhile, since you've been taking them for so long. Learn more Brotizolam details here. You shouldn't abruptly discontinue this medication, however, because doing so may create the risk of seizures. Is there anything I can help with? ## My grandmother has dementia and...

I am addicted to restyl since last 10 years. I take 10mg every night. Now its not affecting...i dont get sleep with it. I have developed insomia so I started on zolfresh 10mg. I get sleep with zolfresh but my body needs restyl also or i get palpitations and vomiting sensation. Can i take both together? ## What is the name of a best quick action sleeping tablet? ## Hello, Rony! How are you? It isn't really a good idea to take them both, due to the fact that they can both cause depression of the central nervous system, which may include lowered heart, low blood pressure and breathing problems, as listed by the U.S. The Restyl carries the risk of being habit forming, so you may need to get your doctors help to stop taking it. A slow taper is usually best. Thappa, I am sorry, but I am n...

I have been on chantix 6 weeks...totally smoke free for 4 weeks...however my sleeping pattern was awful...three nights ago I quit taking 2 dose and just taken morning...slept like a baby since.... ## If you missed two doses of chantix in a row, it's likely that your body was probably experiencing some early effects of withdrawal symptoms. If or when you decide to stop taking the medication, I'd highly recommend contacting your doctor first in order to get proper instructions for tapering off. A lot of people here have been complaining about how bad the chantix withdrawal symptoms are, so I think it would be wise to play it safe until you get a-hold of your doctor. I hope this helps!

I got only one kidny is this sleepin pills hahe any sideeffect ## It would be safest to check with your doctor, before using them. While RemTyme is a natural herbal supplement, which is claimed to be completely safe, some such supplements can be very powerful and may cause side effects or various problems. However, since they aren't actual medications, they are not tested, so these details aren't available. It is listed as containing Magnesium, Chamomile, L-Theanine, Lemon Balm, Passion Flower, Hops and Melatonin. I am 48 years old... I have a sleeping problem and depression... Doctor told me to take Alprazolam .25mg but I feel like I am not getting a very deep sleep. So if I take two or three .25mg, is it safe for me? Please advise. ## No it is not a sleeping pill and is not safe to take in amounts not prescribed by your doctor. The dose you are taking is relatively small but if you double or triple up, when you run out the rebound anxiety will be that much stronger and can even lead to withdrawal problems ## Asis, NO it is not a sleeping pill. I'd suggest finding a competent prescriber. By multiplying your dose you put yourself in jeopardy for increased insomnia and dependence of this very potent benzodiazepine. Granted your dosage is relatively low but these meds can create rebound anxiety...

i have found some pills that are quite small and have z075 stamped on them. what are they?? ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is identified as Risperidone 1 mg. This particular pill is white; round; marked with ZC75 as opposed to Z075. Perhaps the "C" was mistaken for a "0"? Manufacturer: Zydus Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 68382-0114 Size: 6.00 mm Respiridone is not a sleeping pill, but is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and behavior problems in people with autism. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Risperidone Details I hope this helps!

Hi I have been smoke free for 4 months. I quit taking chantix 2 weeks ago but started having problems before that when I began to wean off it. I started developing anxiety and a constant sensation of brain freeze like eating something cold and the stabbing headach that goes with it. After quitting the chantix I went 4 days without sleep and a constant migraine and bouts of uncontrollable crying. I went to the doc who put me on lorazepam. That helped somewhat but knowing it was only a temporary fix I asked for something I could take longer for the anxiety attacks. was put on Buspar. that made me so dizzy that I thought I would pass out and increased the anxiety. I am still not sleeping. Does anyone know how long these side effects will last or any suggestions what I can do? ## Has your d...

Is a 15mg dose of anxit tablet dangerous? Anxit is a sleeping pill.. ## Depends on the person and his body functioning system. This med is usually prescribed for anxiety and panic attack relief. And is a temporary med to be taken with other therapy. although deaths are reported at higher doses but in very few individuals it is unlikely, but probable. although taking such a high dose will lead to permanent brain damage... organ failure..hosts of internal organ problems and can definitely lead to coma. if you are troubled in any way and are under severe depression(i have been through it too)..ther are many other ways of handling this. stop dwelling on ur negative thoughts...do minimal exercises at home...expose urself to the outside world little by little...i assure you u will not have su...

Just stared taking Bupropion hcl xl 150 six days ago. Just switched from Cymbalta, having problems with headache, dizziness, difficulty sleeping, and a couple seconds long period of confusion. I am wondering if these will pass as I adjust to this drug. Probably will call doctor but wanted to hear from people who have experienced this ## Hello, Susan! How are you? What you've described are all reported as possible side effects of this medication by the FDA. You may also experience dry mouth and irritability. Side effects are usually transient and go away, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks. They may also be compounded from stopping the Cymbalta, because that could cause some withdrawal symptoms. What did your doctor advise?

It is had to move my leg to get up or bend it. Physio therapy is hard. Swells all the time. Sometimes it feels like it is not connected or it is stuck. Any idea? .

I am 23 years old & a resident of wb. For the last 5 years i have been suffering from anxiety. First time i went to bangalore & there the doctors prescribed me censpram plus, tetrafal plus, amival 50mg & melzap 0.5mg. I was feeling better by taking all this medicine. But during the past year all the symptoms came back again. And now i am taking d-veniz 100mg, d-venizep 100mg & maxmala forte; but nothing is working. All the symptoms increase like heart palpitations, feeling so much fear about death, sleeping problems, numbness or tingling in the hands or feet, cold or sweaty hands or feet, dizziness, increase of body temperature, etc. My main problem is difficulty breathing & sometimes feel like breathlessness.
