Round White Pill No Markings At All

i have a small (7/16 diameter) round white pill that has no markings or colorings in it at all. any idea what it could be?? ## In situations like this, where there are no markings on the tablet, it is rather difficult to determine what they contain. They can be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. They are most likely an over the counter product and in that case, there are many possibilities. But there is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone have any ideas on this one? ## It could be a melatonin, which is an over the counter sleeping aid.

Need help, I found a small round white pill in my sons room one side says 20 the other side not sure its soft but can not make out any number or letter.there are no lines just a solid white pill. I've known someone who's been getting these for years & have friends from India, they are 80mg oxycodone. However if you've been taking US 30's its just not 'up to par' because of the different chemicals but there is 80mg......what doesn't make sense is India's 30mg are twice as strong as they are in the US....Plus there are a ton of bootlegs out there so ya have to know who your filling your prescriptions from over there. ## The 80mg have the line across one side of them with no markings on the other. found it in my teenage sons pocket in a brown glass bottle ,the pill is 3mm in diam and 2mm thick ,the bottle is 1inch long, what could it be? ## What markings (most pills have numbers and or letters on both sides) are on it and is it scored(does it have a line down the middle?) I found a small round white pill in my sons room. There is a line down the middle of one side and no visible numbers or letters because it looks as if any identifiers have rubbed off. ## I'm sorry, but without knowing the markings, it is most likely going to be difficult to identify. Have you tried asking your son about it? Does anyone else have any ideas? The prescription bottle says dextroamp-amphet er 10mg cap. The pill in the bottle is round white dome-shaped on both sides and has no markings. Is it a generic or something? ## Not likely Adderall (or any medication that is is governed by the FDA). Which leaves just some vitamins/herbal supplements that can be sold without any identifying markings. If this was given to you by a pharmacy, see them immediately because an employee may be swapping. If there was someone that had it between the pharmacy and you... They probably still have the actual meds.

But depending on how you came about it, my intuition tells me that you could potentially have a counterfeit or foreign medication on your hands, since all US pharmaceuticals are required by law to carry a unique set of markings/numbers that represent the substance, dosage, and/or manufacturer. I have a blister pack of what is labeled Diazepam Tablets I.P. 10mg. It's a small white round pill with no markings or lines on it. Completely blank. Almost looks like on one side as if it has something dropped on it. Hard to tell. I looked at it pretty close with glasses and still hard to see. I took a very tiny round off white pill with the no. 84. on it. There were absolutely NO other markings at all on this pill. I was a mess and thought it was an old generic nerve pill. Too many things caused me to do the dumbest thing, which was taking that pill. I was so sick, I desperately was ready to go to the hospital. Everything was spinning, and I couldn't even stand up. I was tired one day at work, a person gave me round pill half the size of a dime with no markings on either side. They told me they was givin the pill while they were over seas in the war? Unfortunately, when you order from a foreign source, there's really no way to be certain of what you may receive. They could be Oxycodone, or they might be something else entirely. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have not been able to find any that are white and match this description. The ones that are listed as blue and manufactured by Actavis. My daughter is currently on vitamin C, and Ritalin but recently I found a different pill that's been recently perscribed to her. (I do not meddle in her personal affairs) the pills are small, white, round and unmarked which makes me nervous because I've read that unmarked pills could be dangerous. They also have a break line on one side.
