The round light orange pill I got for alprazolam 0.5mg only has a -R on one side and a straight line through the middle on the other. No other #s or letters. Is it alprazolam? ## The 0.5 mg round orange Alprazolam with the stylized (-R) and score line should have some numbers on it as well. The logo is from Actavis, and the NDC code for the pill is 0228-2029. Here is an image of what it should look like:

I have an orange yellowish pill with no imprint on one side and a line on the other to split down the middle. It's an Ambien pill most likely, but I just want to double check. ## In the U.S. all prescription tablets are required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency, this if a tablet has no markings, it is most likely an over the counter medications, though there is also a small change that it could be a foreign drug. The FDA warns that Ambien may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, hallucinations, and next day hangover-like effects. Do you know anything else about it, such as where it was found?

I found a few small round orange/ peach pills marked with a fancy V on one side the other side is kind of rubbed off but I do see the scored impression. Dies anyone have a clue as to what these are? ## Can you tell me if the V is stylized like a cursive V, or just a regular V similar to what I've typed here? That would give me a better idea of where to look, since the stylized V is used on prescription medications. Learn more prescription drug details here. ## The "v" is cursive. ## the cursive v is usually hydrocodone. if it has a v on one side and a 3605 on the other side and its scored then it is 7.5/325mg hydrocodone which is a pain medication....i take 5 daily.

Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. Please help - I need to know what this is I found in my sons room. ## My research also yields Dramamine (25mg) as a result with an imprint of "DRA" under the following National Drug Code of 63029-904, except the white color and second score line don't match up as you already pointed out. I see that Subutex is listed as a suspect in another related discussion thread here, but the post (#...

4~ 3/8" orange pills were packed in a bottle of Atorvastatin pills which were small white ovals. One side had no markings and the other had 2084 over a V & they are scored for easily cutting. Just wonder how dangerous these may have been if my husband just happened to shake one out of the bottle. This was the first for this prescription so he could have easily just shook an orange instead of white pill out and not have known any different. Target pharmacy said to just bring them back, they figured they were caught in a cap that was all they said. ## The tablets with that marking contain 300mgs of Allopurinol, which is most commonly used to treat gout and they are nothing particularly dangerous, unless someone is allergic to the medication. However, you should definitely take the...

Pill is either orange or peach and has dz on one side and is scored in half on the other ## Hi Heather, I've seen similar pill descriptions being depicted as Diazepam or Citalopram, with DZ on one side and a score line on the other. One of the alleged manufacturers who uses this imprint is Accord Healthcare Limited based in the UK. You could try emailing the company directly to verify its legitimacy at: [email protected] Aspen Pharma Pty Ltd from Australia is another manufacturer who uses the imprint DZ followed by a set of numbers on their pills. Products that have this marking are also depicted as being benzodiazepines... Having come across this info I'm certainly in agreement that it probably is a benzo-class drug you described. However it's validity may also depen...

Have a pill and don't know what it is. It is fairly small, light orange, round, scored on one side and just the number 5 on the other side. Any idea what it is? ## I'm not 100% certain, since the imprint is rather vague, but there is a 5mg Citalopram tablet that meets this description. It is an SSRI class antidepressant and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. You can learn more Citalopram details here. Is there anything I can help with?
