Purple Oblong Pill No Markings

I received these pills from my doc today but don't know what are. ## Hi,Niki! Did you ever discover what they were? DId your doctor mention anything, when they gave them to you? Where they a prescription or something you received in the office? If you aren't sure, there's really nothing wrong with calling and asking them about them. They shouldn't have a problem, it's wrong to expect you to take something, without telling you what they are for and what they contain.

in a blister package and QT is repetitively printed on the back side of the blister package. ## Are there any markings on the tablets themselves? Where they found in the U.S.? I am just not finding any results with the information you have provided. There are quite a few tablets on the market that meet this description. That said, are there any markings on the tablets? It is the markings that enable us to identify them. I found a large light purple tablet (like the size of a vitamin, but without the smell), oblong/oval in shape. It is un-imprinted on one side, and scored on the other. I recently had several international exchange students in my home, after which time I found two of these pills on the floor and I am desperately trying to find out if this is an illegal substance or not. ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what these tablets contain. I found a pink oblong gel capsule with whitish gel and a purple smaller oblong part inside it. ## Because this pill has no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested somewhere. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. (That said, if you did find it here in the U.S.; it may just be a diet pill of some sort, but there really is no way to look that up without imprints or knowing what company you got it from). They both contain Oxycodone, but the Oxycontin is time released and Roxicodone is not. As to what your pill is, if there are no markings, it is going to be very difficult to narrow down. If it was a legal, U.S. version of any type of Oxycodone, it would have an imprint of some type on it. By law they have to have markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The name brand Oxycontin originally had an OC on one side and a number on the other that denoted the dosage, the new product is almost the same, except the marking has been changed to an OP. As to what they look like, there are many generics on the market and they all have different imprints, so I cannot possibly list a description of all of them with their imprints.
