I have been on klonopin 1mg for 4 months after an acute mixed manic episode. When I asked my psychiatrist if I could taper at 10% (.125mg) every 2 weeks her answer was: No .25mg at a time because if you're not stable to begin with it doesn't matter how you taper ! Hi. I'm now on prednisone but I took it at night instead of morning as on the instructions. And I took only 5 not 6 pills. Does any of this make a difference? ## Correction I'm on Prednisolone ## Not taking the correct dosage can definitely make a difference, as you may not be getting enough of the medication to actually clear up the condition being treated. What did you take only 5, instead of 6, as instructed? As to the time of day, that isn't really significant, as long as you spread the doses out properly. If it says to take 6 the first day and 5 the second day, then that means you should keep them 24 hours apart.
