69 Topics FoundBlue Pill oblong with capital letter PNE... Type "Desenfriol-D Mexico", you will see the picture. It's an over the counter cold medicine in Mexico. ## Hi Ana, Thanks for the heads up on this pill ID. Many foreign tablets from outside of the US can be difficult to pinpoint since there are little to no references available online at this time. So being able to rely on good people like yourself to post details on these types of pills is truly a great thing and perhaps our best bet (as a community for keeping everyone informed); next to a lab analysis or simply canning it due to not finding any clues at all. To other readers: Desenfriol-D reportedly contains a combination of: Chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg + Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg + Paracetamol 500mg It has also been stat...
Blue oval pill with pne imprint on one side ## Hi marie, Based on the description provided, I did find a photograph suggesting that it may be a medication by the name of "Desienfriol-D 24Tab" that originates from Mexico. Desienfriol reportedly contains: Clorfenamina (2mg) + Fenilefrina (5mg) + Paracetamol (500mg). Apparently it's marketed for similar uses as Mucinex is here in the States. Another individual had also depicted their Desienfriol as being elliptical (oval) & blue with PNE on one side, and I haven't seen anything else quite like it, so this is the best match I could locate in my own investigation. Hope this helps! ## I have 2 PNE pills but don't know how to send a picture
I have an orangish/peach pill with PNE on one side and nothing on the other. It’s round. I got it in Cozumel Mexico. Any ideas? ## Did you figure out what this pill is. I too bought some in Cozumel and still am wondering ## Hello Tom, Identifying foreign pills can be extremely difficult as some of them do not have readily available pill identification tools due to their manufacturing practices not requiring imprints. Fortunately I was able to search around the forums and found another thread that discussed a similar pill but blue. In this thread Ana claims that this medication is Desenfriol-D. By searching for this drug on google through this name I was able to find another Desenfriol-D Mexico pill that has the same imprint but is an orange color and round, it does show however th...

My wife aged 63 is type 2 diabetic. 20 days ago she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and her blood sugar quite high e.g. 348. On further investigations it was found that she has H1N1 too. She was sent to ICU in isolation and treatment for pneumonia and swine flu along with diabetic treatment started. She was on oxygen. She was quite critical. Fortunately she didn't go on a ventilator. After 10 days in ICU she was shifted to ward. After three days she was discharged. Her sugar was in control and her lungs were clear. Medicines prescribed were Tredjenta, Livoflox and Unicontin e 400 (1/2 tablet in the morning and half at night) for 5 days. She is very weak and unable to eat much and whatever she eats she practically vomits. Should I discontinue Tredjenta and Unicontin or co...
Filed under DiabetesTaking this amox tr-k clv 875-125 mg tasan after two days in hospital for pneumonia. 2ea per day/7 days, plus Decreasing Prednisone tablet regimine. On third dose I began coughing up mucus with large amount of blood in mucus. Before this I had no cough or mucus. Is this a side effect. I have not taken a forth dose. Today is a Saturday so I will contact my Dr. on Monday. Is it safe for me to stop taking after 3 doses as it states not to stop until all pills are taken. ## Hello, Norman! How are you doing? Sorry about the pneumonia. And the bloody mucous you're coughing up is most likely from it, not the antibiotic. Learn more Amox/Clav details here. Appears as though it may have come from a veteranarian perscribed to dogs. The bottle says Cefla 100 on the side written in pen. ## Hi Kevin, I haven't been able to locate a pill that matches the description you've provided. However, based on my research Cefla may be a brand name for the medication Cefalexin. Since the bottle says Cefla 100, you may have Cefalexin (100 mg). Cefalexin is used to treat a number of infections including: otitis media, streptococcal pharyngitis, bone and joint infections, pneumonia, cellulitis, and urinary tract infections. It may be used to prevent bacterial endocarditis. Common adverse effects include: Gastrointestinal upset such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, and abdominal pain. I have a bladder infection. Can I use zertalin azitromicina 250mg to cure it? If so, what dosage? ## According to Medlineplus.gov, Azitromicina (Azithromycin) is used to treat certain bacterial infections (ears, lungs, sinuses, skin, throat, and reproductive organs), including bronchitis, pneumonia and venereal diseases. I, however, did not see any information specifically stating an indication for bladder infections (or UTI's). That said, I think it would be important to consult your prescribing doctor and/or pharmacist just to be sure. It is also your prescribing doctor's duty to inform their patient about what dose to take for best results. Nevertheless, my guess is since its mechanism of action is so broad, bladder infections may not be out of the question. I hope this helps!

I have had chronic UTI's my whole life but ran into real problems since 1998 after cystocele/rectocele repair. I had a suprapubic catheter for a few days. I got a nosocomial infection in hospital. Before all my UTIs were E. Coli. I got Kleibsiella pneumonia in my urine & over the years a variety of others. I am a 23 year old female. I had a kleb. Pneumoniae UTI. The doctor gave md injectables initially, and then for prophylaxis, he has put me on veltam and niftas for 3 months. I understand why I have been given niftas, but I don't understand the reason behind prescribing veltam. As far as I know, veltam is not for females. ## Here you are given veltam 0.4 as this will dialete the bladder neck and will decrease the post void residual volume of urine in bladder.

I had been on Oxycodone 30mg since Dec 2012. I was in the hospital this spring for pneumonia and a blood clot in my lungs. And I was in between Dr.s. Last week I went to see another Pain Dr. He did a full history, and then said I can't help you. You are out of my league. so he sent me out without any medicine. I knew I was going to go through withdrawals, but that was the least of my worries.. I was more afraid of the pain then the withdrawal. I live In Meadville Penna. It is closer to Erie. I NEED a Dr. that will prescribe the oxies 30mg. They are the only pills that don't make me sick. I can't do the shots because I almost died when they tried to do the shots. But the other problem I have is, I have arthritis all over. Ankles, late stage lumbar spinal stenosis. In my thumb...
