With legal medication ruled out it could be a vitamin/supplement, dietary pill, or an illegal substance. In the U.S. the FDA requires that all controlled medication be identifiable through it's marking/imprint. What is this large white capsule with a light brown powder inside? Just found it while cleaning a hotel room. ## Hi Liza, There are countless conceivable herbal products that fit this type of description as well as various OTC dietary supplements. With so many possibilities, it would be very challenging to narrow down anything in particular. If you think it could be something illicit, I believe your best bet for identifying it would be through a lab analysis / drug panel or perhaps taking the pill into a local pharmacy for a closer evaluation. Other than that, it seems to me like it should just be discarded to remain on the safe side. Please post back if you find out any additional information.

Found these pills in my sons room. He says they are pain pills of some sort but I am not sure. My friend has been taking these White diamond shaped pills everyday right before soccer practice, he says they are energy supplements. I took one from him and cut it in half and the white is only a thin layer on the outside the inside is brown speckled with small yellow, dark blue, and black spots. I came across some pills that got mixed into another bottle with some so I am not sure what they are now. They are capsules and look like a very light gray and white capsule. The powder inside is brown. I did that once, lost consciousness and ended up left in a field because people thought I ODed and died. Nice, huh. If anyone knows what it is id like help thanks ## Sounds like it could be a librium 10 mg a benzo, similar too valium but milder and has a lower half life, doesn't work as long. More commonly come in capsules. Used to treat anxiety and alcohol withdrawal. But with no markings very hard to tell could be anything.

I found a capslul and it is half pink half clear filled with something brown on the inside, almost Sandy looking. I found 2 red capsules with no markings. They're the soft gel type not the harder plastic type. I opened them up and there's a brownish powder with other little tiny colored powered bits in it too. I found a bottle in my old car and found inside it a few pills that in one side was blue or royal blue and in the other side was white. Opened it up and inside was a same SIzed ppill form that was dark brown. The smell off it could pass for beef broth cubes. Help would be appreciated. ## Are there any markings, at all, on them? If not, from this description, I can only guess that it is an over the counter product, of some type, most likely an herbal supplement. So I recently found a bottle of pills that were velcrowed underneath my bathroom sink in my apartment. I'm assuming the person that lived here before me did it. The pills are dark blue capsules with a dark yellow brownish powder. WHAT ARE THEY??? ## Hi Sarah - that's such an interesting story I'd be super curious myself! Of course I wouldn't try taking them and "finding out" what they are! Hmmm - are there any markings on those capsules or any other identifiable information on the bottle?
