U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. (That said, if you did find it here in the U.S.; it could be a party drug or may just be a diet or supplement pill of some sort, but there really is no way to look that up without imprints or knowing what company you got it from). What is this pill with 7S? It is blue in color. ## This is most likely an over the counter product because I did not find the inscription listed in the NIH's pillbox data. So to me that means it is probably not a prescription drug because those are cataloged extensively. I also found another page on medschat where someone said that they got similar pills inside an OTC container labeled Simply Sleep, but they suspected that the 7s pill was from another bottle originally. All in all, it could possibly be an over the counter sleep aid containing Diphenhydramine, but I cannot say for sure simply because it is not cataloged as a prescription drug.

I have one about 8 or 9 mms that is smooth, with no scoring and no imprints at all. Edge is about 1/8". The first letters on the pill container are: P-a-n-c then either r or h. Then looks to read e-a. I asked my DVM for Viokase. I need to look up the drug and study up on it. Follow up of 02/28 post. Original pill marked A 333. Wife back to dentist this AM. Swelling along side of tooth/gum after root canal. Took new prescription for Percocet 10-325 back to same CVS. They have nothing in stock other than the A 333 pill that we had already found to be impotent and reported it to Head Pharmacist. Went to another Pharmacy and they filled with white oval shaped pill identified as M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. The pills were for my cat via the vet. The pills have break lines to break in half or 1/4 (this is the cross). In the upper left of the cross is a D. In the lower right of the cross is a 8. There are all kinds of websites that dont recognize a D and 8. ## The reason they can't identify it for you is because this is a veterinary medication. Prescription medication databases only log medications for human use, the FDA does not require imprints to be logged for medications that are manufactured solely for animal use. Prednisone for my cat. Can prednisone 5 mg for humans be substituted for the cat since medications are running low? ## Prednisone will kill cats. It's for dogs only according to my vet. The one for cats is called Prednisolone 5 mg. ## In veterinary manuals, it is warned this it should be avoided in pregnant cats, and kittens, but it can be used in adult cats, if your vet approves. There are risks associated with giving any medication to you pet, just like there are with people, but both Prednisolone and Prednisone can be used in cats and dogs. However, your vet really has the final say on that, so I would suggest asking them, just to be careful. Your cat may not need a longer course of it, or they may want to explore a different treatment option. How is your cat doing?
