Hi, I was taking Regestrone to postpone my perdios, but after taking it for 3 days 1 time a day, i started bleeding today. I'm 20 yrs old. From 4 months, i'm not get into periods due to bulkiness of ovary. For this, doctor suggested me to take livozen-z captabs for 1 month (1 tablet per a day). I am advised to take regestrone 5mg, 15 tabs 3 times a day for 5 days to regulate my periods. After how many days will I have my periods from the day I finish the course? I finished the course on Jan 18th and now it's Jan 28th. Do I still have to wait more days before checking? ## You period should start within 1 to 3 days of stopping the tablets. The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. Hi i took sandoz regestrone tablet 5mg for delay me periods due to diwali occassion. I started to take 31 Sept to 3 Oct (1 tablet daily) but still dont have periods. Regestrone contains a hormone, so by taking it you disrupted your own natural hormone levels, which likely threw everything off. So yes, you do need to consult a doctor to be safe, but most likely it's just going to take awhile for things to balance back out.

No, I'm sorry, but there is nothing that will work that fast to stop menstruation. The available medications would need to be obtained from a doctor and they take anywhere from 7 to 10 days to stop bleeding. I wish I could be of more help. Have you consulted a doctor? If you do so and get on an oral contraceptive, you can use them to delay your cycle. It can't be done once it has started, but if you know ahead of time, you can skip your menstrual week with them.

I have pocd. My expected period date was on nov 1st and now its the 15th of nov. My doc advised me to take regestrone for 7 days twice daily to get my periods. After taking it twice yesterday and today in the afternoon I saw blood spots, so i thought i had gotten my periods back but it stopped and now I'm not bleeding anymore. What should i do? I had an emergency pill about 3 weeks before i started using the Oralcon pills, and took my 1st pill on the 2nd day of my menstruation, although my periods were not normal because of the emergency pill, but i still had my periods at that time, with less bleeding than usual. I am 36 yrs old . From the time I matured ( when i was 13 yrs old ) I have been having irregular periods and took various hormonal medication from my gynaec to regularise them. Till date after so many years I still have irregular periods. I am married for almost 10yrs and have not concieved. I get my periods once in 3 months and the flow is very heavy and lasts for more than a month . My gynaec has to prescribe hormones again for the flow to stop. Apart from physical exhaustion , I have to face lot of mental tension from my in-laws for my condition .
