I saw a pain doc recently and he put me on oxycodone 5 mg. It doesn't work well and I took some tramadol from an old script. Hi. I've been looking for a dr who will prescribe pain medicine in Queens ny. My dr left his practice and since then all dr's, approximately 10, don't prescribe. I have many ailments and have been on Fentinol along with perks for Breakthrough. Many other meds as well. All these dr's seem to want to do now is shots and physical therapy or acupuncture. These dr's seem afraid to write scripts anymore. I'm almost out and will be going through severe withdrawal on top of the pain from my ailments. I have mri's and x-rays. Everyone who is on pain medicine for chronic pain, we need to do something about our medicine being cut to almost NOTHING due to all the people that abuse and combine other drugs and end up overdosing. The ones of us that do not abuse our drugs, we need them to have some quality of life is slowly being stripped from us. I am suffering from calf pain for 7 years. The pain is severe after i wake up in the early morning. After 3 to 4 hours the pain subsides. Some times pain remains during day time also. The pain is at the the back side of both legs from buttocks to foot. Consulted several doctors, taken B12, D vitamin and calcium but no use

I am 58 yrs old. I am in the final stage of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. With this disorder I also have killer nerve pain, and numbness. In the past I have been on all of the oxy drugs. Took Methdone 40 4x a day for about 4 yrs. worked at first, but then declined. Next I was put on Opana 40mg. Twice a day. Did great on that until they changed the makeup of it, and it started to cause vomiting. I told my Dr. about it so he changed my meds to Morphine Sulfate 60mg twice a day. I started to take it, and 6 hours after I took it, it made me vomit horribly for 3 hours. This went on for 4 days. I called my Dr. and now he wants me to find another pain clinic Dr. He pretty much was my last option, for my area, and he is close to 2 hours away. I am haveing tooth pain is RDY 273 a good pill to take to help take away the pain? ## Have you consulted a dentist? I was recently prescribed Hydrocodone with Tylenol. It is a new formula per the pharmacist (5-325). I have had this drug in the past and found that it worked well. I've had a pain pump since 2007 until April of 2022. In all those years I never missed a refill for one thing as to do so could be fatal. Refills took place every 4 months. But in April 2022 due to a severe illness I wasn't able to get my pump refill and my pump ran out of medicine. Once that happened I was surely looking death in the eye as I was already very ill. However nothing happened once my pump ran out of medicine. This could mean only one thing. Fibro, CFS, osteo, haven't been able to get relief since they took Darvocet off market. Was on time release morphine for 2-3 years this worked. Take gabapentin 400mg am & pm. Obviously not working. Elavil 50 mg nite. Do acupuncture, chiropractor helps. If I'm active then I nose dive it immense pain. Epsom salts bath helps. im taking pritor plus 40, still im getting chest pain going up to my jaw almost to the point i collapse. these past few days i felt the same and almost giving up not to take the medicine, still i didnt discontinue i need to burf to ease the pain, again the pain would came back. pls do advice me , im scared of having a heart attack. thanks so much.

I have been taking suboxone for a week, only 8 mg a day, but over 24 hours ago i only took a half of a 8 mg strip, will I be able to feel pain mess now. It's been 28 hrs since i took half strip. ## @Akc, Due to buprenorphine's long half life of 24 - 60 hours (as reported by samhsa.gov), I would probably encourage you to wait a little longer in-between stopping suboxone and starting narcotic pain meds in order to get the most out of them. If still in doubt you could also take a drug panel to gauge how much suboxone is left in your body. But that might be more trouble than it's worth v.s. just waiting it out for an extra day or two. I am looking for a doctor in sioux falls, sd that's not "afraid" to prescribe narcotic pain meds. I've had severe back pain for years, have been through chiropractors, physical therapy, injections, nothing helped. I feel like I just had to learn to live with the pain. Since having 2 kids, the pain has increased immensely, but my current Doc will not give me anything that helps. I have tried meloxicam, gabepentin, tramadol (which I found I was allergic to, though it did help slightly), and feel I am about to overdose on naproxen and tylenol, because they are all I have access to and though they don't help, I keep hoping they may if I take enough. Can someone tell me what medicine they take for sciatic nerve, hip hurts and lower back.
