Has anyone considered that those who have to open those little packets might also have arthritis? They are the most difficult little packets to open. If one didn't have decent fingernails, you couldn't even do it. ## If you let your pharmacy know, they will change the packaging for you to make it easier for you to use it. ## No kidding! I have a hard time even with cereal boxes. Pill bottle tops, too. Even when you tell them you don't need child-proof caps. ## My 87 year old mother uses Spiriva and swears that her capsules are defective....empty. She pinches them and doesn't feel anything inside. After she has used them, she says they are cracked (not just poked) and that nothing (no powder residue) is left. We can't return them to the pharmacy to check because they ...

Has any else noticed the extremely difficult new packaging for Esipram? I advise anyone especially elderly patients to ask their doctors to switch off Esipram until the manufacturers come to their senses. ## It's a great way to ensure anxious people who bite their fingernails stay on this drug! The genius who came up with this ought to be fired! ## I agree, the packaging is an absolute disgrace and yes the designer of this packaging should be sacked. I can not believe that they could go to market with such an impossible to open packaging. No wonder I have to take the drug !!

Does anyone who uses the Foradil aerolizer, who also has arthritis, find it extremely difficult to open the package to get a capsule? ## I spent about 8 minutes trying to peel the six "peel away" seals off my Foradil. I have used the product for over a year, but this last batch seems to have defective adhesive or something,,,I think if you hold the packet in your hand and let it warm up to your body temp it makes it easier, but still a pain. ## I do not have arthritis, but I find the new Foradil packaging to be very aggravating. It can be very tedious and time-consuming to get the capsule out of the package. ## I've lately found it easier to deal with the packaging if I use scissors to cut along the perforated edges of each sleeve of capsules. The only issue then is that i...

in prepping for a colonoscopy, i had to half the large bottle of miralax to mix with liquid. large bottle is 8.3, so i went to half that and realized the large bottle contains 12 oz, not 8.3 as labeled.....why???? they say that the 17oz lid has 14 servings (8.3) but i measured out the 14 servings in the lid, and there is still more than 8.3...so do i prep with 8.3 oz or the whole bottle (which everyone assumes is 8.3!!) ## Hello, Jan! How are you? If they told you to use the whole bottle, then that is what you should do, but please double check with your doctor to be sure. I've not seen anyone else mention this, so it seems very odd. The FDA classifies this as being a laxative and its typical side effects may possibly include stomach pain, bloating, diarrhea and dizziness. Is there ...

The blister packs of "Crestor" are confusing. Each pack contains 15 pills that start on a Sunday and end up with a "Take this pill last", which also happens to be a Sunday. So I have finished one complete blister pack and the next pack says "Follow daily sequence", which also starts with a Sunday. I hope I've explained myself clearly as the packaging IS confusing. ## Those are actually just supposed to be starter packs to get someone in the habit of taking them and up to the correct dosage, if they are being titrated up. You really don't have to start it on a Sunday, nor do you have to start the next part of the pack on a Sunday, the pills have no way of knowing what day of the week it is, when you take them and neither does your body. December 10th, 2012 Bayer had a voluntary recall of Bronkaid for wording that was left off of some packages. Walmart does not have it in stock right now and was part of the recall. Walmart could not tell me when it would be back on their shelves but they said it would be back. I am guessing Bayer is going to repackage all the ones that did not have the correct wording on the back of the boxes pertaining to use and such of Bronkaid. This was a mistake on Bayers part and that is why the voluntary recall. Hopefully it will be back on shelves soon. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. If it's of any help, I came across more specific details on the packaging recall, linked below: bronkaid.com/en/FormulaRecall.html Unfortunately they do not state when it will be back o...

One takes sumatriptan succinate for migraines. When one has started, it is tough to see clearly. However, the blister packaging of this drug is diffilcult and frustrating to deal with even without a migraine being present! WHY do these pills have to be packaged this way?????? ## Well, unless you're storing them for a very long time, there's really no reason they have to stay in that packaging. You'd want to make sure to keep them out of reach of children and pets, but you could take them out of the blister packs ahead of time, so when you need to take one for a migraine, you're not fighting with the packaging at an inopportune time. :-) Learn more Sumatriptan details here. I used to get muscle relaxants in similar packaging and I'd sit down with about a weeks worth a...

I recently got my estranged ex to a dr. For suboxone treatment. I heard rumors she may not have done the right thing. Do prescription of fifteen suboxone strips come in a bottle? ## Dear Butch, I'm on suboxone (24) mg. a day. Mine comes in boxes of 30. It's a 1 month supply. If the amount of suboxone is lower than 30 they will put it in a prescription bottle. That has happened 2 me b 4. If they didn't have enough 4 a full months supply that day, they give me a partial and put it in a bottle. The information , including the amount of films will b on the bottle.

You reciently changed you packageing of MucinexDM to come in a box that the pills have to be punched out of and not in the bottle form. This makes it difficult for people with RA in there hand, if you come some how come up with a better way to open your product or go back to having it in bottle form I think that would make it easier for people like me that suffers from both RA & OA. And that will not cost to much; the price you have on you product is some what high for people on a fixed income and this drug is recommened for me to take by my ENT Doctors. So please think about changing the packageing of this product to Arthirst friendly package. ## I started taking MucinexDM at the recomendation of my ENT Doctors after I had my Throat operated on to remove a cancerious tummer and the...

Packaging consists of 4 pills in a line without any markings on the pills themselves. Any idea if this is Suhagra? ## Based on my research, Suhagra appears to be another brand name that is equivalent to generic Viagra, for the treatment of male impotence (ED). Depending on whom or where you got it from, there's really no way to trust the identity of this pill without having an imprint or marking of some sort that distinguishes it from other pills.

The prescription packaging on my 50,000 units per pill of Vita D, says not to crush or chew before swallowing. "Swallow whole". Why can't these by chewed? My pharmacist didn't know why. Can't swallow pills. ## Does it happen to have anything else on the label, such as ER, XR, SR or anything like that? Some of these are controlled release, so it isn't all released into your body at once and crushing them defeats that and could result in you getting too much of it, at once. Some prescription Potassium tablets come the same way and cannot be crushed, cut or chewed. Other times it is done to prevent the irritation that can occur to the esophagus or stomach from certain medications and supplement. They are specially coated to help prevent this from happening and by cr...

blue oblong pill 44-485 ## Packaging says Diphenhydramine and Phenylephrine I believe it's an antihistamine (allergy med) ## Yes, it's a combination antihistamine and decongestant, an over the counter cold remedy. ## Mine that are similar are the Walmart Equate comparable to Benedryl-D.

What does the actual tablet and packaging look like? Worried about counterfeit from India. ## I found some mixed information on the manufacturer of this tablet. Many sources state that it is manufactured by "Lupin", but other sources stated that it was manufactured by "Sun Pharma". Upon visiting Lupin's webpage, I wasn't able to locate this drug in their product list. But I did find that if you run a search on google images for "lupin rifagut" you will find a photo of the packaging and blister packs for these tablets. On the other hand, if you take a look at Sun Pharma's product list (who is based in India), you will find Rifagut on the list: That said, I'm really not sure which source is more reliable. That tends to be one of the biggest drawback...

The expiration date on the Vandazole packaging says 02/2009. Can I still use it since its only been 3 months after? ## When It comes to any medication, I think it may be a good idea to start fresh with a new prescription, and not worry about whether or not the drug works like it's supposed to due to the expiration. The medication may be fine, however only you and your doctor can assess what and when it may be alright for you to take Vandazole.
