I found an oblong orange pill marked with M 126 that was put in with my zantac 1mg. What is it used for? ## Is the marking possibly H 126? If so, the tablet is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 40mgs of Pantoprazole, which is also used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, but it is not the same as Zantac. If so, Purdue Pharma lists it as being a 40mg Oxycontin tablet, which is no longer manufactured. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, constipation, headache, and dry mouth. They changed their formulation a few years ago, and now use the OP marking, they have also made them more abuse proof.

I found an orange peach pill that say ABG or EBG on one side (its hard to tell) and the number 40 on the other. It's round. ## ABG 40 is Oxycodone Controlled Release 40mgs, a generic for Oxycontin. A very strong narcotic pain reliever, very addictive and with some pretty heavy side effects. ## I know this is an old thread but wanted to post an update. Currently I believe this old pill has been superseded by the 40 mg extended release (OP version) from Teva. It is round and yellow with the imprint OP 40. NDC code 0093-5733 for anyone who is interested.
