Orange Oval Pill With Ba 5
100+ Topics FoundMarkings are on one side. There is what looks like a backwards G and a 500 ## Hi Travis, I located an orange pill marked G 500 on one side; but it is noted to be round and not oval. There is also a score line on the backside of the pill. The "G" is a bit more indented into the pill than the number "500". It is identified as Sulfasalazine 500 mg. Sulfasalazine is mainly used for treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. It is also effective in several types of arthritis, particularly rheumatoid arthritis. Does this sound like a possible match? I can provide more details on it if need be.

I found a bag of these pills at my apartment complex and was wondering if anyone knew what they are. No writing on the pill, just a line down the middle of it. ## Sorry, but if there are no markings, it is impossibly to positively identify it, other than to say they are not US prescription medications, as by law, they are all required to have an imprint on them.
