New Doctor For Pain Management Pa

My insurance allows to change doctors as often as needed, no pcp needed, also need good pain management doctor, currently have one in a hospital, do they charge alot more than one who has their own office. I was charged $2600 for an epidural, where other places charge 200/300. I lorain, ohio area. Is this correct. Shes really a rehabilitation specialist? please help ## Hello, Dave! How are you? There is no set amount that they may or may not charge. Fees are going to depend on the doctor, their years of experience, the treatments proffered and etc. Do you have a PCP? If you do and can have them refer you to someone, that may be the easiest way to find a good pm specialist in your area. Does anyone else know of any good doctors in that area?

I am in bad need of a new pain management doctor in AR. I live in the Russellville area, and it is so hard to find a good pain doctor around here. I suffer from cervical dystonia with extremely painful muscle spasms. I have all my records, and MRI's. I have AR Medicaid, but it's almost impossible to find a pain doctor who takes it. I'm moving to Vassar, Michigan in a few months and I'm looking for many types of doctors. Bay City, Saginaw, Michigan are some of the bigger city near to Vassar which is a very small city with hardly any doctors. Hi there, I'm currently coming off kaiser insurance and am looking for new PM specialist. I've been taking 10/325 norcos, 1mg clonazepam, Percocet and promethazine syrup. I was in a bad accident about 3 years ago and have had consistent back and lower sciatica pain that keeps me hobbled over all day and keeps me awake at night. Doctors have been turning patients away and lowering thier doses left and right, I'm just looking for a solid refferal to a legit doctor who will listen and not make me feel like I shouldn't be asking, all kaiser doctors make it awkward when talking pain pills. I moved from TN to Utah and I'm having problems finding a doctor who is taking on new patients. I have been on 60 100mg morphine 2x a day and 120 20mg oxycodone 4x a day since 2009 after breaking my back in several places. Can anyone offer any advice? Even with being on disability supporting MRIs, X-rays, etc they still want to do another surgery. Unless something new comes out I'm not willing to try surgery again. I just want to stay on what worked and not have them say physical therapy or acupuncture will fix everything because it won't. I live in Orlando and am looking for a new Dr. To prescribe me the proper pain medication I need for my chronic pain I have taken 30 mg oxycodone for years and also oxymorphone I prefer the oxycodone which has helped me in my day to day life tremendously? Anyone going to a good pain doctor in Memphis that is taking new patients. I am on disability and my wife and I both have r.a. The Dr. we have been seeing for over 10 years has cut our pain meds. If we need something stronger he said find a pain management Dr. He now wants to cut out our pain meds all together. I just moved from NYC to the Florida panhandled. I am having a difficult time finding a pain management doctor who will continue the meds I have been on for a broken back, failed spinal fusion. I am looking into changing pain management doctors. I've been on pain management over 8 yrs. My original one stopped doing pain mgmt last year & it took forever to find one to take my case. Now, i'm starting to question him & would like to know if anyone has any recommendations. I'm taking 40MG of OXYCODONE a day & 100MCG Fentanyl patch, plus Methocarbamol. Those are the "main" ones. I have 4 herniated discs and 3 slipped discs my pain is sometimes too the point I can't move.I took 10 mg. norco witch worked then I moved to Cincinnati Ohio and the doctor I found wanted me to take Methadone and I don't like it, I just want too go back to the Norco. Does anyone know anything about this new medication, and the strength's that they are available in? So my Pain doctor got shut down been going for 15yrs saw about 5 different docs in that span of time. Now I'm trying to find a new one and it's near impossible!! So I was not gonna be stupid and go into withdraws. So I went to a sub doc immediately. Got in right away and Ben on subutex for almost a month while I try and find a new pain doc and it's crazy with all the new laws and South Florida running dry of docs. I find myself not being accepted anywhere. I don't know what to do. I'm finding the doctors I've been to are playing games with patients. So, now I'm looking for a new doctor. HELP! WHY---> I've had three surgeries on my arm. I just snapped it again from overuse.
