It cannot be a prescription drug available in the U.S. though, as by law they are all required to have an imprint on them to enable them to be identified according to manufacturer, drug and dosage. Since it has no marking, it is more than likely something over the counter, but there is no way to say for sure what. There are many, many unmarked white pills on the market.

This is acetaminophen 325mg (tylenol) and codeine 30mg. It is generic for tylenol #3 with codeine. Codeine is a schedule 3 controlled substance that is addictive and highly abused. It is used for mild to moderate pain. Side effects include marked drowsiness, euphoria, dizziness, constipation and a host of others. ## I was wrong about one thing with this medication. It does not have acetaminophen (or tylenol) in it,it only contains 30mg codeine. Sorry about that. ## LOL! Sometimes there are so many posts on one pill that I wonder who on earth lost so many or flooded the market with them?

It is a scheduled 3 narcotic drug that can be highly addictive. Side effects include constipation, stomach upset, dizzines, drowsiness. ## I was partially incorrect about this identification. oval white pill with v on one side and 3596 on other ## was changed from norcos to the vicodin 3596, wondering in there is more or less codien in them before taking ## NEITHER ONE HAS CODEINE IN IT!!!! Norco contains exactly the SAME ingredients that Vicodin does!! Please note the V on the pill DOES NOT stand for Vicodin. It stands for the pharmaceutical company: Vintage Qualitest. The pill marked V 3596 contains Acetaminophen 750mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs. Exactly the same as active ingredients as the Norco did. The only difference is who manufactures them and possibly the dosage, if your doctor changed it. HOW MANY MG OF CODIENE? ## Vicodin actually contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, not Codeine, but it is still a narcotic pain reliever. And on another note, I can't find any record of a pill with this marking, or even something similar, in any of our databases. Was it found/obtained in the U.S.?
