I wanted to know if I can take mini thins while taking Synthroid. I have gained alot of weight since losing my throid and a nurse told me I could take the white ones with the cross on them. do mini thins expire? if they do, how long are they good for? ## to be more specific...in case people think im talking about crackers or something, mini thins are essentially speed, ingredients are caffeine and herb. it was pretty easy to sell stuff like this over the counter back in the 80s and early 90s. ## I am not certain about this exact product, but most supplements are usually stable for one year, after this time, they don't get dangerous but can lose effectiveness. Mini Thins can still be purchased online, they contain: Niacin, Caffeine, Synephrine (from bitter orange), Asian Ginseng, Ginger Root, Green Tea, Kola Nut, Rhodiola Rosea and Willow Bark. I take a mini thin tablet everyday, but it seems as if i do i get more frustrated and more irritable. Should i stop taking them? Pretty much anything that does that can cause side effects, such as what you've described. You may also experience nausea, headache and insomnia, as reported by the FDA. I believe this is due to the 25mgs of Ephedrine it contained. Apparently though, there is a newer version now which has been placed in a category of nutritional supplements that reportedly contains: 200mgs of Caffeine + 25mg Synephrine (a molecule that is said to be similar to Ephedrine in so far as how it works, but notably less potent) + a 30 mg blend of Ginseng, Kola Nut extract, Rhondiola Rosea root extract, and White Willow Bark extract. I haven't tried either of them, but some comments I found suggest that the new formula still works pretty well for it's indication. I hope this helps!

My daughter Catherine (age 17), had an extreme case of Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria (lasted over a year). Diets and restrictions seem to be all over the place. My feeling on Coumadin, is to keep my vitamin K level on the low side, because I'm not a consistent eater. I cannot rely on a consistent level of higher K. So I'm thinking a lower daily input of K means less change/difference because of a non-consistent diet. I've been having trouble starting on a low of synthroid to treat sub-clinical hypothyroidism (TSH ~3.5, no values for T4/T3) for fertility reasons. I'm 33, generally healthy, not overweight, exercise daily and eat a healthy diet. Admittedly, I have been under considerable stress for many years and need to keep working on stress management. I have been taking this for almost 2 years. I started because of a major back injury in October 2010-my twin daughters were almost a year old, and have since discovered acupuncture-which is wonderful! i am a 65 year old male has hyper tension and is also diabetic had a sever e stroke left sided haeme peresis 27 years back because of severe spasticity unable to have proper sleep feels drowsy during day time. I want to taqke some sedative(sleeping tablet 0 0which will give me sound sleep for three to four hours and is not habbit forming ## I needed one to put me back to sleep at 4 am when I wake up long before I want to. I am on effient blood thinner after a heart stent placement. I was just prescribed efudex. will this increase the blood thinning effect ? ## If you're using it topically, the side effects are usually minimal. However, it would be best to double check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. Is your INR checked regularly?

So I came across this article about the Bridge Device. It's like a mini earpiece that goes behind the ear, and is used to fight withdraw symptoms from opioids. I think the device is 3-4 yrs. old. I think i suffer from hyperhydrosis. Why do i have high body odor for so long and how can i stop it? I am out of options ## It is hard to guess as to why you have this issue. Do you sweat a lot? Are you on any medications? What types of foods do you eat? Usually the odor can be minimized by engaged in good personal hygiene, such as bathing regular, and using antiperspirant/deodorant. Fresh sweat doesn't have an odor, so washing it off, before it can become stale and full of bacteria is a very important factor. ## I have been experiencing a bad odor coming from my nose for a couple of months and I don't know what kind of drug to take that will help me get rid of this sickness.
